The real shame is the amount of knowledge and common questions going back 10+ years that was lost. I was just looking up some random thing about the best material for tank o-rings and got a bunch of old dead MCB links. Now I have no idea what tank o-rings to buy. Shame.

In the short term, Google Cache on those articles works pretty well. And if they are older, check out archive.org mirror that was done a couple years ago. Neither are ideal, but it sounds like restoring a static site should be possible (with some caveats), we just need to wait a bit.

One thing I've noticed is that the spam on my MCB email address which I don't use for anything else has gone through the roof.

If the previous site was hacked that could explain it.

So much knowledge, just vanished......just to think, the hacker had to have been a paintballer himself, hardly anyone knew about MCB these days still being active unless they are an invested player
