Minus the loss of the old forum..
I really enjoy the new features in this one! All we need now is an optional 'dark theme'... and only give it to green names muahaha *nervously checks subscription date* Speaking of which, are these like pro-rata subscriptions or whatever (I don't know what that word means, uhhh, are they timers reset or not ?) Will load a crisp bill in the cannon.Making new mods.Comment

The real shame is the amount of knowledge and common questions going back 10+ years that was lost. I was just looking up some random thing about the best material for tank o-rings and got a bunch of old dead MCB links. Now I have no idea what tank o-rings to buy. Shame.Comment

In the short term, Google Cache on those articles works pretty well. And if they are older, check out archive.org mirror that was done a couple years ago. Neither are ideal, but it sounds like restoring a static site should be possible (with some caveats), we just need to wait a bit.Comment

Between Google cache and the Wayback Machine, we can recover a lot of what was lost. I have already recreated several stickied threads.

One thing I've noticed is that the spam on my MCB email address which I don't use for anything else has gone through the roof.
If the previous site was hacked that could explain it.
