    This targeted ad by Amazon made me chuckle this morning. But as a Floridian, I’m seriously considering it… I guess the algo knows where to target this contraption.

      Nice! I installed a bunch of these in a fleet of cop cars a long time ago. Intended use was down the vest, but would not be surprised if the air was directed elsewhere at times.

                                When i first saw the pic, airflow was not my first thought of this contraption’s intended use. I guess i might be able to use it anyway.

                                    heres the crazy thing; most cars had a factory installed vent just for this very use... we lost it and didnt think much of it. now were trying to find creative solutions to a problem we made.

                                        it was (is) called a crotch vent.
                                        a little vent just below the steering wheel. there have been a few articles on them over the years and even some that reference this device lol.

                                            exactly the same? no. it didnt have a hose on it, but it was definitely directed towards a specific area.
                                            just that there was a vent there and then it was gone.
                                            never had it but im curious about cooled, or even ventilated seats.
