I continue to endure Helldivers 2 - even after they made the mistake of increasing the factory strider's toe armor...

Has anyone tried out this crazy looking game? A bit expensive for a cheap laugh, but if the gameplay is actually good... could be worth it. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2...FENSE_FORCE_6/

I just discovered it requires an Epic account. Hard pass. Sounds like it's a shame - another good game lost to corp. greed.

Recently finished "Quake" and its expansions. Great deal for $10 on Steam. Before that it was "Duke Nukem 3D". Finally getting around to playing all those games I wasn't allowed to buy as a child because they were "rated M for Mature".

Be on lookout for ARC Raiders soon. I was part of the play test and it's pretty fun. Scavenger kinda blade runner style aesthetics, Horizon dawn enemies, and socom gunplay. Extraction shooter in the vein of Hunt showdown, and Escape for Tarkov.

Finally beat Serious Sam 2 the other day & immediately jumped into 3. What a huge jump in terms of graphics from 2. 2 was a little easier than 1 & so far 3 has been slightly easier than 2. No complaints though because 1 kicked the crap out of me.

I've honestly been back to fallout 4. I've modded it to hell this time with many mods. Including automation mods, weapon expansion mods, and crafting mods.. I also have a bunch of mods that make just about every enemy legendary, and I am cheating for crafting supplies.

The result is hours of city building. I have the people populated cities well built, and happy. I have other cities being solely of robots that are my supply line cities.

I really enjoy crossing paths with my provisioners when I'm out and about. Especially when I hear them wrecking havoc on some aspiring rust devils off in the distance.

Finished Serious Sam 3 the other night. I was going to start on the DLC but I’m a little burnt out on the series at the moment. I played a little bit of Doom 2016 last night & i think it might be the next game i plow through.

            Still final fantasy 7, lol

I'm now 44 hours of play time in and reached the point that I could finish the game in another hour if I did not do any of the side quests.

So needless to say I probably have another 20 hours of side quests to complete before going for the final boss fights.

I have a really bad habit of getting to the final boss fight in RPG, getting distracted by side quest, and then never finishing the game.

I don't want to give my hopes up. I've been playing Battlefield since 1942 and went through the rise and fall. I do read and see great things that give me hope.... but then i also read and see that they're going to have a free to play battle royal which just means monotize everything and instead of trying to be call of duty they're trying to be fortnite. I really hope the full release isn't affected by that but i'm not holding my breath

I’m Excited for the sandbox mode. Im sure the rollout will be a disaster as all of them have. But after a month or so it turns into an amazing game. A lot less cheating on it to.

I played that for a bit at my neighbors house. It was fun for sure. I also read an article that the devs may be decreasing the amount of quick kills.

Been playing Diablo 4, since it was free on ps+ last month. On the fence about liking it (as a fan of both Diablo 2 & 3). Trying to rush the campaign so I can get into the Season stuff.

Buddy got a private server for Ark: Survival Ascended, which was also free on ps+ recently (the game itself). Been vibing in that, taming random things that annoy me while doing what I really like: living out amateur architect dreams.

All the while, been slowly gathering super credits in HD2 for the latest warbond. Becomes more of a grind when you're not playing every night.

At least it's a decent one. The last 3 or 4 were such stinkers they're the only one's I don't have.

Started playing Doom 2016 a few days ago. So far i really like it a lot. I love the brutal executions, especially with the chainsaw. I could see myself jumping straight into Eternal when I’m done. One thing i hate about some games is giving the player way too much text to read. Number 1, it breaks the flow of action oriented games & 2 i just CAN’T easily read it from where i sit and I’m definitely not going to get up & walk over to the TV every time i find a new journal or log entry.

I don't agree with the music choice in this video but Deadlock is, as far as I'm concerned, the best kept secret in upcoming shooters. It's DotA as a 3rd person shooter set in the 1930s New York with occult mysticism as a 6v6 pvp mayhem brawler with nearly infinite ways of building your character. 4 character abilities, 12 item slots including 4 active items aka 4 more mini-abilities. The possibilities way too high to count. Hell of a game.

I tried Deadlock a few months ago with an old college friend. Him and his roommates all really loved it... I wasn't a fan. No matter how I upgraded my character, I would do minimal damage to opponents and get killed before taking their healthbar down halfway. No amount of online build orders and whatnot helped. I always prefer games like Halo where it's skill vs skill alone.

I'm in the very out of character mood of switching between 5 games instead of sticking to 1. Battlefield 6 beta, RoboCop (excellent BTW for fans of the movies), Dirt 2, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk (spiritual successor to Jetset Radio future), and Last of Us 2

How did the beta run? I’m excited for BF6 but there roll outs have been less then stellar. After a month or so it turns into a decent game. But I hear good things. I’m excited for the sandbox mode. I hope they bring back the massive multiplayer Skermish style ground war maps. I’m sad they only offered it for a short time In BF4.

Beta seems good to me. Much better than 2042. Maybe a little more call of duty style movement but not ridiculous slide canceling. Best BF since BF1 in my opinion.

Yeah Bomb Rush is on the PlayStation store too!

I finally weened off of Helldivers 2 and started playing Abyssus. Fast paced, deceptively strategic, but needs some serious balancing improvements for multiplayer... right now, whoever has the most exp just dominates the round making it not as much fun for everyone else. It's also not clear from the beginning how deep the game goes. At first it seems like a fairly short core loop, but later you discover there are hidden depths...
