I started Metroid Prime 2: Echoes over the weekend. I'm running an emulator, which means I can run mods to fix the controls. Haven't gotten it figured out though. I've always felt it was a downgrade from Prime 1, but I can't really explain why. Something about the art style feels like grounded.
What game(s) are you playing right now?

Just tried Killing Floor 3. It was a free game on PS and I still feel ripped off. 0/10 wouldn't recommend, especially if you like KF and KF2.Comment

Started playing UnMetal last night. Didnβt play it long but i already like it a lot. A pretty funny poke at 8 bit games like Metal Gear. I also put on my PSVR headset for the first time in quite a while. I need to fiddle with the camera placement since moving the whole setup several months ago. I really love Until Dawn Rush Of Blood. A HOTD game in VR wouldβve been incredible. I have a ton of VR games in the backlog but i played UDROB for quite a while yesterday.Comment

I was snowed in up in Maine, stoned to the gills playing Miss world 96' Arcade on my Powkiddy emulator. My wife hates it but I was having a good time. It's kind of bad but addicting game totally something you play as a kid when your dad is at the elks Lodge and you got a screaming cold Shirley templeComment

Arc Raiders is so frustrating, uplifting, crazy, and addicting all at the same time. Some of us still play like its us vs clankers, but there's always rats.Comment

The rats ruined the game for me. I enjoy playing with friends, wherein in as with most team matches it's no holds barred to anyone. Solo, though, just too many rats. I have a guaranteed fun time in 20min with most other games. I don't need to roll the dice on some rat ruining that 20min for me. -
I heard your aggression towards other players effects your match making but regardless I'm still enjoying it. Coming from Hunt showdown I'm used to the rats

Started playing Marvelβs Avengers a couple of days ago. I was confused as hell at first because i inadvertently started the Avengers Initiative instead of the campaign. I was totally lost. Then i realized my mistake & started a campaign this morning.
I went to the mall in Metairie, LA yesterday & they had copies of Terminator 2D No Fate so i got a day one edition. None of the stores in my area had any physical copies.Comment

Tried Core Keeper, which is one of the free PS+ games this month. If you like isometric view sprite graphics, pve multiplayer survival, base-building, & cave mining, it checks all those boxes. There's a definitive goal to escaping the caves, so it doesn't seem aimless.
Back to playing Conan Exiles on a buddy's pve server. I'm amazed the devs continue to support it, but also glad. It's pretty fun. They lean heavy on cosmetic item purchases, though - like with many games these days, it becomes a fashion show. THEME WARNING: a mechanic of the game is enslaving people to work for you, but to be fair, 99% of humans in the game attack you on sight. You don't have to do any of that, but it does provide benefits. You can also capture & raise baby animals - not much better, but you don't have to knock them out, you just pick them up.
As always, Helldivers 2. I'm almost always up for that, but my activity normally peaks when new warbonds drop.
Haven't tried it yet, but i bought Grandpa: High on Retro, exclusively based on instagram reel ads. Going to see how well it performs on Steam Deck w/ dock. BUT, the dev just announced it's coming to PS4/5 on 4/20 (of course), so chances are i'll buy it again.Comment

I love Resident Evil games, but had stalled out since my newest console until recently was a Switch (and cloud based Resident Evil is ass). Now that I have an Xbox that can handle stuff I have jumped into RE7 and I'm loving it. I wasn't sure about first person Resident Evil, but the slowness of the player character and the jerkiness of the baddies makes for an enjoyable stressful game.
Def. going to check out the REmakes once I beat RE7 and Village.π PK x Ragnastock πComment
