For almost an entire decade I had an '08 Honda Fit Sport with a personalized "USAGI" license plate. Earlier this year, we got yet another economic stimulus check from the government about the same time as our tax return came in. My wife, who works for the local Ford dealership, let me know this one had had come in and sat for 2 weeks because of the "Millennial Anti-theft Device" and super loud pipes a previous owner had installed, so I stimulated the economy. 2017 Ford Mustang GT, Premium Package (nicer seats and entertainment system), Performance Package (bigger, staggered wheels, Brembo brakes, better rear diff ratio), 6-speed manual, in Lightning Blue.

Just picked up this '13 Jeep. Had a Wrangler back in 1990 and sold it in 92. This one is slight more upgraded than my old one.

If I had found side car, I would have considered one, I paid 9 grand for this al though it’s older 2009, but only 3300 miles and had the raked front end to add stability to the rig.
I was only looking HD, not urals but you don’t see that many of either up north here.

Hey Deuce how you been doing? I retired from Fort Drum last year

I sold my bugeye WRX 12 years ago (the silver one). Bought an ‘06 off a coworker this week (black one). It’s got a salvage title and needs a bit of work, but the engine, STi 6 speed, and vf39 turbo really rip. 16 psi using RomRaider.2 Photos

No real issues in Michigan with rebuilt cars, probably easier since we don’t have vehicle inspections. When I’m done I’ll be in it for around $5k total. Definitely won’t be perfect but will be a good winter vehicle.

Only 16psi? Those are rookie numbers. I'm hitting double that in my Evo bruh.
All hater jokes aside that's a nice bug eye. I helped my friend put his together. He has an 04 Wrx that was in pieces when he bought it. I can't wait to help him with his coilovers he just bought to replace the ebay kit that came on the car. I like messing with Subbies, they are almost like Jeeps. I helped another friend wrx swap his 07 hatch. That thing was a total sleeper.

Haha yeah I avoid the waterfall affect. Too much boost, gotta build up the engine, too much power, gotta upgrade the trans, big pow pow AWD, start grenadine diffs and driveshafts.
I run 15 psi on my 135i and she’s plenty fast for the streets without affecting reliability much. I probably won’t push the WRX much higher either.

Not bad.
its nuts, before the pandemic i bought an altima with the KA24de and manual for $900.
with the chip shortage,
the stimmy checks,
working from home and not needed a reliable car,
coupled with the saving from insurance Co's
and lack of money spent on gas/repairs,
people have been going ham on used cars that were cool back in the day.
the same kids that were in highschool when the Neon srt4 and OG teggy came out are now older with adult $ and with everything listed above, have been able to go out a drop serious coin on used cars.

even the audi s4 (B5S4) ttv6 used to be a few grand. now they are trading hands for $20k and even $30k. Have these cars really become "collectable"...?

B5 S4 we’re probably one of the best cars Audi ever made. They are highly collectible and sought after. Especially manual cars. I have bought and sold a few from Show cars
to 500+Hp monsters. Quickest car I ever drove was a B5. That thing would attempt to rip itself apart trying to kill you. Lots of fun but race gas and the lack of it at the pump made it a pain to drive. I didn’t have the hart to detune it for the pump so I sold it for a lot. But clean examples brought $15-$20k for the past 10 years especially the manual Wagons, Niagro Blue, and Yellow cars.
If buying one and High HP one carful of 2nd gear it’s the weakest part of the car. The later B5 were a bit stronger then the earlier ones.

well, i mean, i DID. but every one i see is either rusted to hell or needs engine work.
could have been something great and they messed it up. it would have been a modern day Audi S4. i dont like the wings and lips and spoilers, and hood scoops and what not. i like when the fast version of a regular car still looks like a regular car. that stuff is fine on corvettes and skyline gt-r's and stuff but i appreciate the "reserved speed." The quiet styled fast cars. the power and speed is there but you're not flashing it around.
