So the once very prestigious Marina Del Rey Halibut Derby has fallen from grace and is a shadow of what it once was however I am proud to say yall are looking at the 2021 MDR Derby Champion. Grand prize is a 2.5 day tuna trip on a private charter that I get to go out on it October. MDR is far from my normal fishing grounds and the fishing here has become really poor for many years but i was able to pull it off. As a thank you to the winning fish I was able to keep it alive and release it after weigh in.

Caught this monster Northern Pike on a Williams quicksilver spoon in the summer of 2019, The Old Post fishing lodge on Lake St. Joseph in Northern Ontario (1000KM north of Thunder Bay for reference) 44 1/2 inches long 25LBs+ guide said it was the biggest that season and he figures it took the fish a hell of a long time to get to this size. That said the place is a Pike sanctuary so yea

I caught a total of 9 today, can only put 5 pics per post though. Awesome fishing day until having to paddle back and pack up one handed in the dark

I live in Southern California but have property on the Holston River in East Tennessee. My daughter just moved out there so I am there a few weeks. I caught those in my front yard. I will retire there someday but not soon enough..... I hate Cali

Having unlimited trout and smallmouth in my yard is like a dream for me. Have my own launch ramp on my property

Solved my top water hookup problem by switching to poppers from weedless frogs.

The green box is about 14 inches long.
