Both new? I'd love to check them out. I'm pretty sure these punched ones will work, but if I can examine an original, so much the better.

Color me interested in a full rebuild kit. I picked up a Flatline direct from AGD in either 2013 or 2014. Which must have been way old stock at that point. If you get these figured out maybe you could take a crack at the Dynaflow reg seats?

Easily. I've got a Dyna and a Hyper rolling around here somewhere... Lemme get this Flatline off the table and I'll take a look.

New thread started for the Dyna/Hyperflows, and other obscure seals in general.

Of course i start dissassembling the one i had on hand and the reg piston is bent. The other parts to the left are apparently 3k reg pistons i had kicking around. Circling up with a local that has 4500 flatline reg that was working and is also in need of a reg seat. I will be commandeering his reg for testing.

Reason number 507 to make sure you know what you are doing when installing the reg seats.

Can you make a new pin and thread it into the piston with some sealer? Idk how thick the piston face is.

I suspect AGD may have one kicking around.

The material from earlier in this thread proved slightly too thick- an Imperial number rather than a metric. I've since found the correct metric material, and have had getting some punched out on the to-do list for WAY too long.

DocsMachine Related but not trying to hijack this thread: Can you make reg seats for a 3000 Flatline? I contacted Dave Zupan at AGD in October and he confirmed that they don't have any in stock. Dave also mentioned that the original seals were sourced from John Sosta of Power Pulse in the UK. Thanks!

3k flatline regs use orings for reg seats.
          Working...
