So I started rebuilding a black magic reg and then realized that the lube I have is like 10 or so years old, it's lurker lube if it matters but I doubt it, so does lube have a shelf life or is it good for life as long as it's not in the elements, it looks fine but I just wanna make sure so I don't have to tear my cocker back apart later

If it's labelled as "sleek lube" and white/creamy looking then it's still a baby.... you need the old aluminum toothpaste tube of dow thats pink, now that tube can buy itself a drink.

Regular Dow 33, Dow Molykote 33 and Dow 55 all have a shelf live of ~5 years technically but I have used it in many applications for considerably longer. If it is still pure white, not separating or have lumps from drying out for our applications I would not hesitate to use it. That being said the stuff is damn cheap if you stay clear of the paintball marketed stuff.
