Red is almost always the stiffest spring.
Green/Blue depends on the spring kit.
Most of my colored springs blue is medium and green is soft, but I don't think it's universal.
Dude... so I just checked again they are all same od. Thickness and same amount of coils.... lmao tha means....and I must be wrong but... they are all the same..lmfao!!! Like man you gotta see these things they are all he same but the color I must be getting something wrong here.
could be temper or a different material which results in a different spring rate.
honestly easiest thing would be if you have a kitchen scale, put the spring upright on it and push it down 1 inch and record the weight you scale reads.
An old trick for you budding airsmiths: If you're comparing two springs, and want to know which is stronger or weaker, drop them both on the shank of a Phillips screwdriver. Push them together, and the first one to 'stack up' is of course, the weaker of the two.
That doesn't take into account length and whatnot, of course, but it gives you an idea of the comparative spring rate.
To my eye the red looks to be a higher spring rate (i.e. stronger), as right before you bottom out both the blue looks to be slightly more compressed than the red.

Slaps forehead and mutters "Duh". Thanks Doc - that works great! I have a pile of springs - many just silver and its always an exercise in frustration to try and tell them apart.
If you put equal force on the springs, the one that compresses further is weaker of the springs. Basically, you stack the springs and squish one into the other. The weaker one is the one that compresses more from it’s “natural length”
