Slim’s Spring Stock Classic 2022, May 21-22, Adventure Games, Weare, NH
sorry to hear that man. i get sun poisoning stupid easy but can usually handle the heat OK. worried, but if i keep myself fully protected from UV i should be OK.
does anyone who is going have a spare round k-frame grip? thought the one on my bench was for a k but it was for a j frame. want to give my Krain framed mac-1 a workout. would prefer round but square conversion is fine.
i'll have a spare mask with me in case someone needs one
leavin in a few hours to go setup. might rain tonight but that will keep things cooler tomorrow morning. looks like weather-wise our best shot at getting a lot of games in will be tomorrow morning. heat will start spiking in the afternoon.
sunday morning might be close to 90 by 10am.
please show up early tomorrow so we have a strong body count for those early games!
Due to my schedule, I won't be able to get down there before 9 or 9:30. However, I'll show up wearing what I am playing in, and my gear will be ready to roll, so I should be able to jump on the field minutes after paying my dues and buying paint.
In spite of my girlfriend telling me I am "crazy and/or stupid" for still going with the expected heat levels, I will try to be there extra early tomorrow morning as I need to test out and dial in the Grey Ghost before we actually start playing.
doing registration/waivers online today will save time tomorrow for sure
i'll have have some fresh coffee at my truck for early birds. if the pot is empty we'll brew up another, i have plenty. don't forget the dunkin donuts on 114 if you want breakfast on the way in.
the heat will probably keep walk-on/rental traffic low. should mean plenty of room for us to setup, in the designated area of course. so early arrival and you should be able to setup camp tomorrow morning and not have to do it later when it's hot and you're exhausted.
We have played in the heat before at AG with like temps. Just stay hydrated, dress lightly and take playing at your own pace. Don't forget sun tan lotion and deodarant
Yeah heat looks like mid day spike Saturday. Get there early so we can go hard all morning and then dial it back appropriately. Currently packing up. Probably hit the road around 3 or 4 this afternoon.
The black caps are all packed up for you.
I'm sure we'll cross paths again sometime this summer
I expect to be down to both P&L and Friendly Fire several times this summer (and I will be at EMR for the Castle Frontlines game next month)
Got my phantom setup in VSC mode, put a couple of drops of KC trouble free oil in, paint form the 10rnd tubes I loaded up last summer, and it just worked.... Preparing for pump play is so much less trouble than breaking out the tanks, hoppers, replacing o-rings on spool valves, replacing batteries, figuring out how the electronics worked again... God I love stock class.

antiperspirant? I don't think so... I'm going to perspirant to the max.
I forget if/where folks were posting about items they are willing to part with….but I will have a fine Phantom specimen of the red variety and possibly a Splatty pistola with Kit’s kit installed. Just saying. Planning to get there sometime Saturday afternoon.
Little delay, dropped an A/C unit on my foot. Xray negative, but I won’t be sprinting through the woods… oh wait, I’m that old, slow guy… never mind.
This did give me time to dig up a few more stock class goodies to pas along.
