No worries at all, how was the crowd at Nashville?! I'm just looking for games during the off season!

I might have a spare Phantom with me if it doesn't sell before then.

I could scrounge up some players as well but they do not own any pump guns.😫

Once we nail a date down I’d be happy to spread the word.
I'd like to meet Maxwell, so let's aim for Saturday after next- 12/6/25

Is anyone else interested? Should I see if I can get some of the pump/limited paint group to come down for one of those days?

Not positive but I think I could make 12/6 work for some pump play!

I won't have field time until after the holidays. Weather permitting, i'll be in for a meetup then.

Seriously. I also like the three kids all behind the home bunker.

Oh boy! My absolute favorite thing to geek out about!!

My main mask camera since 2020 has been a GoPro Hero 8. It's been very reliable recording in 2.6k/60fps, but last weekend I tried to up things to 4k and it caused all kinds of reliability problems with the recording either not initiating or the camera freezing a few minutes in. It can be tricky with a GoPro to know when you're turning things off or on when the camera is on your mask and you can't take it off to look at the screen. When I first got the camera I had problems with it overheating when I ran it in ventilated plastic dive case for protection, so I eventually built a hybrid aluminum/plastic protective shell that works a lot better.

Before my GoPro I used a Soocoo C30, which before the trade war you could get for like $25 on eBay. https://youtu.be/-DAi7KAMrsE?si=09uN-pwFkOF1VdXQ

I've also got a GoPro 9 and 13 but since they're a good deal larger and heavier I keep those for filming family vacations. I may switch the 13 soon though- since updating the drivers my old laptop can finally edit 4k video properly so I'm running out of reasons to keep everything in 1080p. However, if I were buying a similar camera now I'd probably eschew GoPro altogether and get a DJI Action 5 or 6. Those have much better battery life, heat management, and low light performance. The only reason I have a GoPro 13 to begin with is that have GoPro's subscription service and keep getting newer replacements for my 8s when they break (always from swimming-related damage, not paintball)

My barrel cam is a RunCam Scopecam 2 4k, the 25mm version. They make a more zoomed-in version but deflection is already a real issue with 25mm and I can't imagine that anyone but first strike snipers could make use of the 40mm version they make. To avoid the camera being obscured by cover it's always been better to have it mounted along the top of a barrel. I sometimes mount mine sideways so that as the gun is aimed upwards the target doesn't sink too far below the frame. Overall it has been a fantastically reliable camera for me and has survived several direct impacts to the lens. It records up to 4k but I prefer to run mine in 1080p at 120fps for better slowmo. The one big modification I needed to make to mine was to re-focus the inner lens for closer ranges- from the factory the depth of field was set so far out that only long distance first strike usage would be in focus, presumably because airsofters are the intended market for these things.

The camera clamps onto any picatinny rail and it's a snap to put a picatinny flashlight adapter on most guns' barrels, but mounting it to a pump is more of a challenge.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/376383650267 I really like this style of clamp because it comes off easier and will attach to the front of my Resurrection...

...but this style is nice too because it's two pieces and has what you need to mount the unit to the top of the barrel but on its side, to better compensate for ball drop.

Dude that hopped over home at about the 3:00 mark is simply priceless. He really showed that bunker a good time.
