That's how fast they are with the upgraded trigger parts.
Is he using any of the wonky valves, or is that just one of the nicer 3ways + secret pin?

Man, I forget what it's like playing with electros. Not sure I like it now...

We ended up playing at Nashville Paintball today, though- Garrett and I drove to X-Treme but there was no one else there- the owner says they really never get anyone on Sundays but they had 60 people yesterday.
We ended up going to NPI and met up with Kevin and some other people.
Might head that way one of these days. Fields with more tree cover would be nice during the summer. Played at NPI a couple saturdays ago and sweat so much in one hour that it didn't feel any different when the rain came (after which everyone left).

Oh, and if not, Insane near Chattanooga is having an old school mech meetup day on the 27th. I'll be in Florida but otherwise I'd totally be there.
Haven't been keeping up with meetups & events, tbh. I have nerdier plans both of those weekends (D&D).

Right now the plan is just showing up for recball @ NPI the next time my knees don't hurt & it's less than 80°, which is a lot to ask, lol.

Thanks! It makes me so happy to know that someone actually got some of the jokes!

I miss the old hyperball & tower fields. It's good to hear the crowds are still there, though; gives them a reason to keep investing in the place.
Yeah, the new location is an overall downgrade, but it's still a dependable location for local pickup ball.

    It's a real bummer that Nashville doesn't have a big scenario-ready field.

The concrete field is surprisingly good, though, and is really well balanced to promote movement. They just opened up a new wooded field 2 weeks ago and I've barely gotten a chance to play it but it's much wider and longer than anything else they've got. There's lots of trees, but they're skinny, and there's quite a bit of plastic tubing bunkers sprinkled throughout. Also, normal weekend crowds remain strong, so if I were able to play regularly (and with a 3-year-old, I'm not) NPI would still be my pick.

I'm considering a return to the field after going MIA for 2 yrs. How is NPI doing? Any significant changes?
