I was looking forward to meeting you ladies and gents, as well! My location and perpetual lack of funds has generally kept me from attending anything like this, though back at the beginning part of The Dream® was to eventually have a booth at a World Cup or something.

    Doc.

Very sorry to hear that Doc, was looking forward to talking with you about the double barrel Crowdbuster in person. But family first of course!!! We shall toast in your honor, and slay many a foe for you. And of course, post pics here for all to enjoy.

Gentlemen, it is with true regret that I have to say I am unlikely to be able to attend.

I very much appreciate your extremely generous offer, and as I've said before, under nearly any other circumstances, I'd already be camped out in their parking lot.

Unfortunately, your offer came at an inopportune time for me. I'd rather not go into details, but it involves the health and care of an elder family member, and our options for alternative care are pretty limited at the moment. (With both mobility and mental issues to consider.) For those that might follow me over at the Tinker's Guild, you might have read my post last August about a trip I made to Washington. That was, among other things, to settle some affairs and escort this person back home.

I'm sorry, I tried pulling all the strings I could, but there are limited services locally, and I have limited funds to throw around. The only option that might have worked, was hiring in-home care for a week, which would have been close to $2K, and even that was only IF anyone had an opening in their schedule.

I'm given to understand some funds were raised for me, and it was exactly this concern that kept me from accepting it a couple of months back. Whoever is administrating those funds, please return them with my compliments, AND... if I could get a list of addresses of those donors, I would very much like to send each of them something for their generosity.

Gentlemen, please use those now-surplus funds to enjoy yourself even more at the game, and please post your photos somewhere other than Facebook so I can live vicariously through them.

    Doc.

It doesn't feel small at all. Great size for the amount of people.

Well we were planning on renting an RV, but I recently got a German car repair bill. $200/night versus $45/night.

It sucks, because we already got our spot reserved, too.

Camping is part of the experience tho, lol.

Lol, that's honestly how I feel about it. It also helps that the company I work for operates a hotel in McMinnville, so I get dirt-cheap rooms.

If you are that close, you almost have to go. I'm about an hour and a half away. And Supergame is always a blast.

That's good to know! I'm really looking forward to attending it.

I've been out of the game for a while, so I had actually forgotten all about Supergame, till I traveled to LA back in August and played at SC Village. Me and this guy were talking about my EM1, classic gear, and MCB, then we got on the subject of Supergame and I remembered how close I was to it. Lol.

I wish I could remember what his username was.....

Yeah, it's a good size with a cool mix of different terrain. It's about a quarter mile walk from the entrance to get to the farthest out base. Definitely wouldn't call it small.

So it's pretty similar in size to the old field. Maybe even a bit bigger. I don't remember where I read this, but somewhere it said that it was a much smaller field, which made me concerned.
