I may be able to use a WiFi hotspot, but service has been a bit spotty out there. Next year I hope to upgrade to a Starlink kit so I can work from anywhere.

I know that this would hinge on if anyone wanted to stream it, their cell service was good enough to stream it and if there would be interest but I just wanted to get a feel for the idea. One other thought would be youtube or twitch but those are more public forums and many might not want that.

So I had an idea and wanted to get feelings on it would streaming the meet up on the mcb secret squirrel chat be something of interest for anyone? I know that DocsMachine might like to see it and be able to say hi, and I am sure there would be others that would like to say hi as well but since it would be from 8-9 on the east cost there might not be much interest.

The other day I posted asking for input about meetup and potluck. It has 1 more day till the survey expires and I posted this same thing there but I know everyone does not go everywhere. So with that said baring any last minute votes the following is the plan. I have tried to work around the Supergame schedule so that no one misses out on anything that they want to do in order to meet or potluck.
Meet up Friday May 3 5pm-6pm Trbo / Joker's camp site. I31-I37 and J31-J33 Photo at 5:45ish.
Potluck Saturday Night May 4 7pm Trbo / Joker's camp site. I31-I37 and J31-J33
I would suggest everyone bring a camp chair to sit in.

I'm unfortunately in the midst of a small shop crisis, with about half a dozen deadlines- in some cases, hard deadlines- either very rapidly approaching or already whooshing by as we speak.

BUT... I plan to start shipping boxes of giveaway goodies down, hopefully later this week. I'll probably be sending them to Trbo, as I'm given to understand he's one of the closest (and some of the rest of you will be travelling) so if he suddenly says he has an appointment in extradition-free Rio, you know what's going on.

(Like my T-shirts and stickers would fund more than one mai-tai and half a bowl of complimentary pretzels. )
