Did it just go from shooting to instantly dead ? What were the step by step things that went down from working to not.

Far from an expert on a Trilogy but that valve spring in Dauntless image looks awfully long, way longer then would be on a traditional 2K Autococker. If too long it could have way too much preload on the valve preventing the Hammer from opening the valve enough to function. Again I have no real experience with a Trilogy never had one apart on my bench so unsure what correct springs look like.
