I mailed Cunha some o-rings. I'll mail anyone who wants some o-rings too. I have hundreds upon hundreds of them.

UPDATE: I bought the 3x7x2 o-rings from Amazon, installed them (they actually fit) and had great success with a small amount of testing. I shot two tubes, no rollouts. I shook the gun around when chambered trying to shake the balls out with no success. Accuracy is truly impressive for having an unfreakable 6” barrel.
When I get around to it I will mail some of these o-rings to EV. It seems they do have the machining right, but instead of giving you the correct o-rings or an assortment they just throw anything in there. They don’t get a lot of grumps like me actually demanding the 2.0 thing…you know…work properly, because they have been pushing freaking since the takeover and nobody needs both detents and a Freak.

Well at least half your post is positive

My experience with the 2.0 breach was not a positive one. I’m under no obligation to claim otherwise. They bragged about an added feature…but only half implemented it, and then shipped it without testing it. Between reports of leaking guns, massive price hikes, a spring feed they seem embarrassed to actually sell and now failing to correctly sell a product that was already market established for years…nobody should be cheerleading this performance. Fans are earned.

Hey folks, I have some input from Have Blue on this topic:- The ASP detent mod as used on the Phantom 2.0 breech is 100% authorized and authentic. Jesse had reached out a while back asking if they might be able to use my detent mod on Phantom breeches. I was absolutely flattered, and gave them my blessing to use it, only asking for attribution. I gave them all the drawings, dimensions, and G-code that I use for the machining so they didn't have to reverse engineer anything. That being said, it looks like their detent pockets are a smidge closer together than mine, but I don't think it matters. Sounds like the bigger issue people are having is with the 005 size o-rings EV is using. I was going to follow their lead and switch to including just 005 o-rings with the mod and Roundheads, but based on the threads, I'll stick with including the 3 different types so that people can continue to tweak their setups to specific paint. I should come up with a better way of making the Teflon 'horse shoes' in bulk, then...

I bought the breech and am very happy with it. The o-rings it came with work for me, but I did pick up some bigger ones off eBay and installed them.
I'm glad they offer this. I find bore matching tedious.
I used to Spyder mod my Phantoms. Glad I don't have to drill and countersink parts on my own.
Gets a thumbs up from me. And EV's shipping was fast.

It would be interesting to measure a bunch of these at the same time and compare them to each other…

They used a larger tool to cut them so it changes the size required to make the detents work properly. After you put the larger orings like everyone recommended yours works fine. Looks like they are shipping with the proper orings now because others are reporting that the ones they send work properly. The exact size recommended were different because the majority of ASP modified bodies were done by ASP. people assumed they were identical however they are not. The option had just become available when you purchased yours. They got the issue figured out now and should function as intended in the future.

It’s like this, fanboy. They sold me something that didn’t work until I fixed it myself. That’s not quality and I’m under no obligation to be happy about it. I love my Phantoms but I’m not religious. I’m a customer, not a booster. If me bad talking something bad makes your Mike Casady full back tattoo itch, you’re just going to have to deal with it.
