I've only seen two come up for sale in the last few years. One was on a blue splash Mini-Lite that the eBay seller claimed was Ben Tippmann's old personal gun, no idea if it was true but he seemed legit. I don't think he ended up selling it. The other was in a completely NIB Pro-Am lot with a giant pile of accessories that sold for a hell of a lot more then I was willing to pay for a tippmann.
Definitely worth keeping an eye out for them though since they do occasionally surface.

Don't know if you noticed Drunkscriblerian but there is a Pro-Line powerfeed/vasa for sale on the board. https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forum/b...and-misc-parts

The messing-around continues.
The biggest problem I had with my Pro-Lite on the field was that it was too freaking long; between the basic design and that 18 1/2 inch SP barrel, it was like shouldering a Kentucky rifle. I sourced a shorter Tippmann threaded barrel, a nice 8 inch Lapco Bigshot. But that wouldn't thread thanks to interference from the fore-end. So I did the only sensible thing; I took a hacksaw to the fore-end.
At that point the barrel screwed in fine but the front end obviously looked janky as hell. So my dad and I cut and milled a piece of oak, worked it into the front of the fore-end and screwed it in place. The result was pretty redneck, but the balance was vastly improved when I put a tank on it. Oh, and it's loud as all hell now. Still, I'm happy with it.2 Photos

I tried paintball for the first time a few weeks ago (as a 30 year old dad, lol) and can't get it out of my head. I've been obsessively searching around for gear and his thread single-handedly convinced me to get one of these. A day later, wouldn't you know, a pro-carbine popped up for sale near me for $10 and I bought it immediately.
Tore it down and everything looks great internally. It came with a 9oz CO2 tank but I can't find a single place near me to fill it to test if the gun actually works -- all the welding and dive shops in my area say no. As soon as I scrape together enough cash for an HPA tank I'll plug it in and report back

Took it to the local field and the guy let me use an HPA tank to try it out.
It was leaking air due to loose hose connections, then started rapid-firing itself. Looks like the CA-09e o-ring blew. Dug through a bin of rings and found one that fit into the valve. It shot a few times then did this again lol
I'm going to get a full o-ring kit and rebuild it. Any recommendations?

Just another vote for the Pro-Carbine being the best gun Tippmann ever made. Here is mine. Also, if anyone needs the weird metric seal for the brass gasline adapter on either a 68 Carbine or pro-carbine, just let me know. Minimum order size was like 100 and I only needed like 5 or 6....
Just pm me your shipping information and let me know how many you want. Absolutely 100% free I am never going to need this many of them.
