Randos asking for paint

I will give out paint to a renter. Not to a regular. And only if we are bunkered together working towards a common goal. If I leave early, which I usually don't, any leftover pods or open bags I'll usually give out in staging.

Plus, I only carry 50 round pods at most anyway!

Most of the time I will help someone out when we're on the field. I don't carry a lot of paint with me so if I give someone a pod that's 50% of what I'm carrying. But I use that to force me to make moves or shoot more carefully. On rec games I will dry fire and stay in the game so having paint isn't always a necessity. If I'm playing with experienced players I find they don't usually ask. I have offered up a pod to players in those cases to keep them on the field and maintain numbers. I don't mind sharing paint as long as it's not the same guy every game.

Depends I’m Usualy running 10 or 50. But I also only shoot like 500 Total paintball when I go out to play. If we are I. The same bunker or they look like they will walk off just cuz they are out of paint. I’ll throw them a pod or my tube holder and tell them to fill up. And keep playing

People were generous to me when I first started playing, so I often share if I can. I consider it a way to stay good with Velcor.

That said, I carry 240 rounds for most instances. When I share you might get 50.

Only the kiddies, but sometimes I hand a pod to a magfed player as a joke, say "too bad" and then run off and get shot while they're standing there looking confused

Someone got a picture of me on the ground loading tubes out of a 140 round pod behind cover because I shot threw what I was carrying. Ended up working out and I finished the game. The people watching had a good chuckle over it.

Last time I was out nobbie333 realized he only loaded half his hopper while in the staging area, so I lent him an extra ball, and told him to make good use of it . I'm a good bro like that

So I've started having the opposite happen to me a lot. Towards the end of the day a bunch of random people will give me their paint to the degree where I end up leaving with more paint than I came with. I appreciate it, but as a pump/stick-feed guy I end up with a shitload of mediocre paint that takes me forever to shoot.

Mid-game, I’ll donate if it’s a fire fight and I don’t want to be left for dead. A lot of times people will pay back at camp.

After-game, I try to dump the paint I won’t use. (Or sell, if unopened bags). I don’t want to take it home.

Stingy, but I try to only play hopper-ball, anyway. From my experience, players that run out aren't usually playing well, so it would just be a waste. I also have very little trust in that player paying me back in any fashion.

I generally play speedball and the local field has a lot of regulars on several different teams. It isn't uncommon to give someone a pod, especially if we are running drills at the end of the day. It always comes back around. Maybe not that day, but at some point it will. Same goes for snacks & drinks. Almost everyone is incredibly generous with that type of thing, assuming they have enough to share 😄 Giving someone a topper at the box is pretty common as well, usually if we are turning around pretty quickly.

As far as randoms go: I'm happy to give someone a topper or a pod if it means we can hurry up and get another point in, instead of waiting 10 minutes for someone to get more paint - especially if it is a kid. And I'll frequently give away a half-pod at the end of the day, especially if my caddy is full. I've gotten plenty given to me as well, might as well keep it going forward.

At the end of the day I want to play more paintball and have fun. If that means I give away a pod or two of paint and get a few more games in, I see it as a win. As long as I get my pods back 🤬

The last scenario event I played, I was shooting and minding my own business when a kid ran up to me and asked me for a pod of paint. His tone was of someone that not only felt like we were best buddies and deserving of my paint, but like it was just normal and expected that a random guy would give it to him. I didn't and I told him to go back to his staging area and get his own paint. It was extremely odd and I didn't feel one bit guilty of telling him to get lost.

I had 8 pods on me.
