What did you get in the mail today?

[Loophole]

A few goodies:

DustDevil Hopper from Kit
and a Punisher Body for a sheridan project from wouuullff

I was out of town and this popped up on Kijiji for $20. Guess how much cash I had in my wallet?

Unfortunately the grip mounting threads in the plastic frame are stripped, so I'll have to put in a threaded insert. The tank was born in '95 (I'm sure Meleager7 will enjoy the decals).

I need these stickers for my siphon tanks!

[scottieb]

The Taso sticker is really cool.

[FredMnkyDad10]

Not in the mail, local pick up. Not sure what is there or if everything is there.

[Alexndl]

Look like a moded PGP with some nice grip in the box and a Sheridan KP3 (seem like its missing a pump handle, can't see more on this picture... pump handle can be 3d printed if you need one I made some 3d model).
Really nice find!

[BrickHaus]

You found something Id trade that rt mag for I see...

[BrickHaus]

My expensive poo build part came in today.

The dishka tip is not for the build, but I figured Im paying shipping, I may as well grab one.

Got a Micro CA-II and set it up on my sniper. First 12gram gets fewer full velocity shots now (down from 37) but the check valve means the next 12 gram when changed at the same point gets like 45+. That extra bit of pressurization is pretty great it turns out.

I like having the gauge to show me when I am ready to swap too.

Very cool

[superman]

Got my body back from Ryan. Super pumped to start this build.

[fullofpaint]

Bummed I never picked up any of his bodies, I love his style! That's gonna be a killer build

Forgive my ignorance, but who is Ryan? LOL.

[superman]

RJ paintball. He machines cocker stuff, but is not planning to do anymore. I snagged this one before he stopped and was finally able to get it in hand.

[$L!mBo]

had a jamieson body, ended up trading it for a raw evo left feed body then sent that to mozak for the feedneck mod and slender milling. prefer it to the jamieson body, and hes made it one of his standard cuts so you can still have one made

[Shane-O]

Qmoto helped me by linking me to ebay for this. It was listed for parts, but it is complete. Haven't aired it up yet, but I expect it to work. Now to find an Illusion without paying current rates....lol.

[lhamilton1807]

Local find for a nice low price. all I need from this bundle is the CP ASA for a certain project. The rest will be on the BST section soon.

[BrickHaus]

Those springs make nice sheridan spring feeds.

[CrowsFeast]

It came with FS rounds. Obviously this means you need to create a FS ready build!

[lhamilton1807]

CrowsFeast lol I was thinking the same thing. I don’t have any FS shooters. Yet…

Picked up a Rainmaker after wanting one for 20 years.
It even works, though there is a slight leak from the shroud area.

[Twisted G]

Yeah you just need the right tools. That or know someone who can do it themselves. Some folks on here could do it. .

[Garyfu.70]

Update: Tested it with paint and it shot kind of AMAZING. That piercing crack crack crack sounded delightful.
It seems to be all stock. I just added the ASA and macroline.
How necessary are those Martymods?

[Jordan]

Mad Marty's mods are only necessary if you plan on using your RM regularly - they prevent the internals from eventually breaking themselves.

They do improve the performance considerably, though, so it's worth it in my eyes.

There's a great writeup on them in the Brass Eagle section. 😉

Do the Mad Marty Mods if you want it to stay working. They will shoot themselves into a paperweight otherwise. .

[Garyfu.70]

Can you still get the Madmarty Mods?

[Jordan]

Thank you sir! I forgot about that thread... I might PM you with questions later. 🙂

[Meleager7]

Looks amazing, now I want one too ! But in that camo green version from that included thread

[glaman5266]

Meleager7 I think the green one is the standard one. I specifically asked for a blue color scheme.

[Twisted G]

I aspire too look as cool as that guy one day. XD

[Chuck E Ducky]

Careful some of those were recalled for safety due to bad lenses. I had one and someone stole mine watch out for the one eyed bandit who took it. Most likely did me a favor.

[Cyberpyr8]

So the optically correct bubble lens might be dangerous? At least the space age polymers won't hurt you!
