Piranhas and spyder are not cross compatible.

piranha single frames are easiest sourced from gen 1 pmi piranha (not vm68 or pump piranhas which are all piranhas but not what I mean)

Just buy the gun and swap frames

I was just listing the two most common STBB's that came with goofy double triggers that new players hate when they pick up an eBay gun. Depending on what you have it is easy to swap out grip frames, but it seems like there are a lot more double trigger frames on ebay than single trigger.

Its sort of like Azodin when they first started making pumps, but kept the double trigger frames from their STBBs. Even a drop-in single trigger would be nice, since cutting down Spyders still leaves the trigger at a weird angle.

You can slightly modify the frames to work for eachother. Piranha frames have a mechanism to drop the sear so the hammer can be pulled back which spyder don’t. There’s a rib on the frame that fits into a rib in the body.

there are some differences that can be overcome between the two, but they’re not directly compatible.

I only mention this because I had three or so New old stock aluminum black single trigger piranha factory upgrade frames and they didn’t sell for like 30 dollars here 6 years ago. And the plastic frames are pretty easy to find and are honestly better than the metal ones, and they don’t break.

Hah, I remember posting a WTB thread about them for my USP like five years too late. What I ended up doing for that was putting an early Eforce frame on it (the aluminum semi-only one), and hacking the double trigger down to a single. Not my prettiest work, but it gets the job done.

I can absolutely back the want for a quality aluminum single-trigger fishy frame!

A cocker threaded vert feed body for the old ACI maverick/Trracer.

          why:
There is a ton of these available for cheap
The pump stroke is better than a Phantom (personal preference)
The current design lack freak option which make them almost useless with modern paint
          They dont have ball detent
They lack a stock class feed option

The pump handle could be 3d printed if the stock one does not fit

I agree there's a small market for a vert feed cocker threaded Trracer body.

If they don't get produced, you can send your body in to get cocker threaded.

            1) I would be very interested in that. I have a bunch of Trracers and Hornets, but I'm not happy with the nail polish or tape detents and the custom brass 0.679 (I think) barrel that Ty McNeer made me is great when I encounter that paint, but I'd rather not do custom barrels for every gun.

            2) scottieb is there enough meat on a Trracer or Hornet body to re-thread?

The Great Equalizer , yes there is enough to rethread. I have a Trracer body with cocker threads because Trracer threaded barrels are too hard to find.

Ok so here is one thats been milling about in my brain for a minute.

A female asa adapter to convert dedicated adjustable bottle regs (air america, flatline, maxflow, etc) to just allow for a normal bottle to screw in, effectively making it a female reg.
            Velcor will save us...

-That... would be an interesting piece. Not sure about the utility, and the resulting setup would be miles long, especially if your screw-in had a long reg, but I don't actually see why it wouldn't work.

That reg idea would look perfect on my ugly Autococker. Even better if it's on/off.

And if the result is miles long, just more reason to throw an old school super crazy drop forward on the setup as well

-I played with making a bolt-on lever kit for a while, before moving over to the Duke platform. I never really came up with any good design there- everything looked so cobbled and clunky- and at the time, Dukie had his kits out. The one thing I wanted was a proper lever-rifle lower tube feed- and of course spring feed so you can flip-cock it.

Knurled adjustment knobs for the WGP Bullet LPR's
-Easy enough, but don't regular Rock knobs fit those?

98 custom tipx mag adapters in aluminum
-Probably a bit outside my CNC capabilities right now.

                          Doc.
Unfortunately, no. Very different thread and size.
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

Just in case I was delusional, I double checked the Rock knob and it doesn't thread in, it just falls in.

I'd pay handsomely for this. Have a bottle with a maxflow on it where the maxflow is in great shape and the bottle is torched
