The CF20 Pro features polished aluminum inserts to reduce friction from the fins of shaped projectiles (like First Strike Rounds) as they navigate the magazine's curve, improving feed reliability. It also includes ball bearings in the winder mechanism to minimize snagging and friction during operation, enhancing smoothness compared to the standard CF20.The CF20 Pro has refined internal geometry, which contributes to more consistent and reliable feeding, reducing the likelihood of jams or misfeeds compared to the CF20.

Both magazines maintain the same capacity (21 round balls or 20 shaped rounds), compatibility (EMF100, EMF200, Dye DAM), and features like toolless side panels, breech-blocking followers, and Dye DAM mag coupler compatibility. The CF20 Pro's upgrades focus on improving reliability and performance, particularly for shaped projectiles.

So probably worth the extra $5 then.

I wish they were not curved though. I like the look of the straight ones more

For what it's worth the Dye mags work just fine and can be found secondhand for pretty cheap, at the cost of having to flip the mags (which is the fun part).

I use high speed brand taco mag pouches. You can adjust them based on your mag size. You can run them on your back too but forget about putting your empty mags back there during a game. Definitely invest in a dump pouch btw.

I run three mag pouches on the front of a small plate carrier. When I hit the field I bring a small bag of fresh mags that I can switch out when respawning.

You guys are going to love Magfed. For many like me, it has nothing to do with milsim. The mfog experience feels like limited ammo or pump play, that’s why I love it.

Yeah, I'm not ruling out the dye mags but I typically don't enjoy limited paint play so I'm thinking they may annoy me in the long run

Yeah get Good Nerd! Honestly the limited paint aspect is the only thing that keeps drawing me back to mag fed. I do enjoy First Strikes. Games are too slow for me and the I can’t conform to their play style.

CF20s are so big, has anyone tried just putting them in a regular harness?

Failing that, do the mag-clip things so they come in pairs, and then they'll probably fit in a standard harness.

And gotta have a dump pouch that fits all but one of whatever you carry.

The Dye Mag clips make the package bigger. Use a rig with pockets that will take two m4 mags. Use a single mag clip at the top of the mags, but only put one mag in the pocket by running the outer side of the pocket between the mags.

Purchased this, unfortunately it arrived just after Supergame. Should hold 10 mags and has a dump pouch and other pockets. Crazy cheap for what’s included. Some pieces were a little stained but everything is solid.

The half mag lower is made by Skibba Rigged
The upper and bolt cap are made by East Coast Anarchy Productions
                      8" Deadlywind freak barrel
20 round Dye Dam mags that I literally cut in half with a hacksaw
                      Inception Designs trigger
PE 3-way valve (Deadlywind 45 hair valve is not compatible with the lower)

It's about 3lbs with full tank and mag. Hands down the most fun marker I've ever owned.

It's the SHAM lower, designed and printed by Andy Skibba. Search "Skibba Rigged" on FB and send him a message if you're interested.
