    Umarex T4E TC 68 - full-auto AR-style, FSR-capable rifle.

The T4E Tactical Carbine with its strong caliber .68 is a versatile powerhouse for paintball sports – both as a MagFed marker and in combination with a hopper. With its ingenious features, various power sources and numerous tuning options it enables individual custom setups for any match and any challenge. The TC 68 has an AR design that is focused on functionality. It can be operated equally well by left-handers and right-handers and is easy to handle. M-LOK slots on the fore-end, a Picatinny top rail and a Quick Detach (QD) interface offer countless mounting points for accessories. The pistol grip conforms to the AR standard and is compatible with accessories from the aftermarket. The 300 mm barrel of the TC 68 has a threaded muzzle (M22 x 1.5) for tracer units and is connected with the receiver with an Autococker thread. This makes conversion to tuning barrels possible as an alternative, and thorough cleaning of the barrel is much easier. For safe troubleshooting and for short breaks between matches, the TC 68 has a relief valve that disconnects the system from the power source without a loss of pressure. The Tactical Carbine comes out of the box with a 20 rds magazine for both roundballs and accuracy-enhancing precisionballs. An easy-to-reach regulator permits fine adjustment of the energy, guaranteeing optimal function and accurate hits for rubberballs, chalkballs, paintballs or special ammunition. For the use of a typical paintball hopper, the TC 68 comes with a universal hopper adapter and a dummy magazine, which feeds the paintballs. When it comes to the power source, the TC 68 leaves nothing to be desired. The butt stock accommodates an 88 g CO₂ capsule as standard. With the optional adapter kit (2.4062.3) the TC 68 can also be operated with a 200 ml HPA bottle, and an additional adapter (2.4747.4) allows the use of two 12 g CO₂ capsules. The 2x 12 g CO₂ adapter activates the Quick-Piercing System in the buttstock. A light blow on the butt plate is sufficient to pierce the capsules and make them ready for use at full pressure, even after a long period of storage. An indicator that can be clearly seen and felt shows whether the system is under pressure.

No word on the internal workings but all of Umarex's .68 caliber stuff up this point has been some variation on a blow-forward.
Default power source is an 88gram CO2 cartridge but adapters for dual 12 grams and HPA tanks are available.
Similar to a TMC it has the capacity to be switched to feed from a traditional hopper elbow on the right side of the gun by use of a dummy magazine.
Velocity is actually adjustable this time, apparently via a regulator at the rear of the gun, but the adjustment tool is built into the onboard removable cover, which may be an issue.
Barrel is actually removable this time too, and is autococker-threaded.
Gun and magazine are capable of loading what Umarex calls "precision balls" which resemble FSR shaped projectiles but might not be.
Magazine appears to be propriertary and has an advertised 20 round capacity.

A cursory glance at the manual does indeed make it look like it's blow-forward, but there's no easy way to clean this thing in the inevitable event of a chamber break. Looks like the whole shebang would have to be split apart and reassembled.
Someone with more time ought to see what can be gleaned from the schematic : https://www.umarex.com/download/manu...ctions_web.pdf

Interesting. I don't understand the full auto love, especially with the cleaning complications like you mentioned.

I'm REALLY curious to see what the rate of fire is, too.
The double-barreled Umarex shotgun is actually a blow-forward semi-auto with a surprisingly slow recharge rate, so it will be interesting to see if there's some dumb-chamber-related limitations built into this thing to limit that.

Is this being sold / Marketed as for paintball or, less lethal uses?
