Man. I found a rifle, clothes, supplies, and a bunch of other stuff. Shot a bear thinking I could, and that mfer tracked me down to eat me.

BrickHaus I had to add it to my wishlist after reading that

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon (GBA)
Been playing it via my Game Boy Player on my GC, hooked up to my CRT. Looks good for a blown-up GBA game.
I'm still doing Elden Ring stuff. I don't think I've put it down for more than two weeks since it's launch almost 3 years ago. Started a dedicated spear build.

Performed a full recap on this SNES as well as swapping in a 2amp power regulator with a 470ųF 6.3v cap to clear up any vert lines. Also realigned the crystal trimmer to the proper 21.4773mhz frequency so things dont crash.
SD2SNES/FKPak Pro and a new case and we're rocking some Star Fox 2 on OG hardware now
Velcor will save us...

Just started Kena: Bridge of spirits. Caught it on sale in the PlayStation store, don't let the cutesy art style fool you. Combat is pretty in-depth, I'd say the game is somewhere between Spyro, Legend of Zelda, and Dark Souls. Really good so far. Definitely has a the charm of an older PS1/N64 game but with better graphics and mechanics obviously

Almost done with Project Warlock. Pretty decent old school FPS. Love how trees, boxes, etc are flat & turn as you turn so they’re always facing you.
Picked up the RE 3 remake the other day. I loved the RE 2 remake. I’m only a couple of hours in but so far so good. I know it got a lukewarm reception compared to 2 but i think I’ll like it.
Bought Mafia Definitive Edition last night. Beat this years ago on PC & loved it so i figured I’d give this one a shot.

Been playing the Project Tamriel mods Skyrim: Home of the Nords and Abecean Shores for Morrowind and have been enjoying quite a bit. I love that the narative settings are based on the pre-Oblivion lore. There are no main quests yet (at least from what I can tell) but I'm having fun with the side quests and exploring.

Some of that 90s FPRTS goodness https://store.steampowered.com/app/3...zone_98_Redux/
Picked up 90% off in a sale for the whole series.
90s games are the best, imo. 3D, decent gameplay, but not so refined and overproduced as to lose their charm. Also much more innovative because they weren't so insanely expensive to make.
Nowadays it's all "sorry we've had to shut down the servers and now the game is dead because we made less than a billion $ in the first week"

It's weird suddenly being old enough that the games I lusted after as a teen are now considered abandonware. Games I could never afford and only played the demos, now I can play for free. Most would probably run on my watch... but nobody ever ports them, they're too old.
Like Microsoft Urban Assault.(free download) Yeah, I had a thing for FPS RTS hybrid games. Good times. Bad graphics. https://www.myabandonware.com/game/urban-assault-a4i
