Sweet! I drove an Allroad for years. Loved the thing gave me 300k miles before I lost 2nd gear. 220k of them on a Malone tune with the usual Rs4 / S4 bolt ons and some APR goodies to handle the extra boost. My wife still has hers 2002 with only 65k on the clock. I love a good AWD Wagon! Use to dust newer tuned S4’s in the thing car seats in the back and everything total sleeper.

Haldex.
That's awesome, yeah they can be sleepers for sure

finally got my m96 back into the car. just some practice for this weekends icecross (to insure i put it back together properly):
i like the last one even though its less dramatic cause it shows just how loaded up the rear is on a 911 when launching out of a corner. strange car the 911.

Indeedy. Brought it home from Japan.
I prefer it from a driver perspective. Strong hand on the wheel. Weak hand on the shifter. Plus Mazda never moved the parking brake handle so on the RHD cars the parking brake is on the passenger side which frees up some space.
RHD isn't the best on US roads. But manageable in a car this small.
Changing gears with the left hand is easy to get used to. The hardest thing to get used to is the turn signals. They're operated with the right hand and flipping it up is left and down is right. Most American folks when they want to signal a turn hit the wipers when they drive a RHD car. We called it the "oki wave". A buddy of mine came up with a great way of getting over that. Hold your right hand on the wheel and stick a finger out. Whichever way you turn the wheel you will bump the signal in the correct direction.
Although this was my daily for almost 2 years and now I daily a Corolla. Sometimes I hop in the Corolla and hit the wipers when I want to turn lol.

Latest project: 1986 Goldwing GL1200 Interstate. Rescued it from a buddy's barn where it had sat over 6 years. This pic was taken after I stripped most of the painted plastic & polished it along with most of the chrome. Had to rebuild all 4 carbs, rebuild front forks, replace timing belts, clean the gas tank & some other odds & ends to get it rideable. Since this pic I've also replaced missing/damaged marker light covers, cut down the windshield.
Edit: that's not me in the pic but my daughter1 Photo

My ride is actually becoming a ride, rather than a static display. First start, and running after several years, after a little wire smoke from last years attempt at starting.
Click for sound I think
