ADVENTURE GAMES/EVENT UPDATE:
Food: Special Snack Shot Menu for the event: BBQ Pulled pork & pulled chicken sandwiches, Mac & Cheese, fried raviolis, giant pretzels, etc. Snack Shot will be open and serving food late to SC players on Saturday until at least the 10PM Toast.
12-Grams: 12-gram CO2s are in stock and will be available at the pro-shop (according to Aric they have around 6,000s in stock). He didn't give me a price per unit, but said it will be around the average cost (around .50 cents)
Weekend temps: Adventure Games will be setting up a misting tent for both days. They do have a spigot as well, but I'm not sure if it will be dedicated to the misting tent or not.
Bon Fire: Given the temps, we will probably NOT be having a bon fire because that would just be stupid. Instead of sitting around the bon fire, we can hang out around the Snack Shot area. There has been talk of setting up a poker game for any one interested. Please bring folding camp chairs as there may not be enough regular chairs at Snack Shot for all of us.
Fields: As usual, Adventure Games is always working to improve and build up their existing fields. Please note that Roanoke is still under development and may have building material located on the field. Aric wanted me to mention this so players won't think his fields normally have debris and clutter on them.
Paint: Adventure Games is no longer using GI Sports paint and has switched to HK Army brand. There are several different grades available, but it has not been established which grade will work best with stock-class markers. Aric mentioned that HK is very similar to Graffiti. One observation was that their tournament grade MAY have a thicker shell, but will need to be tested by SC players to determine if that is true. Normally our players avoid "tournament" grade paint in favor of mid grade as the shell is usually thicker and the diameter is usually bigger, which is best suited for stock-class play.
Camping: AG will be making every effort to get us set up together in the designated camping area. As mentioned, please do NOT set up in any area that is not reserved for our group.
