Seals are ordered, new hose is on the way-Thanks SupraDan! I want to order that SCM3 super bad but $90 could go a long way for me in the form of gasolineComment

There are many complaints about the stock promaster lpr, but they’re not really about its performance especially if yours is going to remain mostly stock. The biggest annoyance is the adjustment lug being slotted. Almost nothing meshes with the slot securely enough to prevent the lug from marring/deforming which creates an aesthetic issue. Another complaint for those who heavily modify their markers is the reduced volume over previous designs. For some one just restoring a promaster back to functionality, the stock lpr is totally fine. They generally don’t creep and have a built in over-pressurization safety. If you’re not dying to spend the money, don’t. I have seven promasters and only one has an aftermarket lpr on it.👍 3

I realized there was a reg seal in the fore grip reg I wasn't using!! Pulled it out and threw it in the LPR!! Hoses should be coming in soon

$10 buys you all the hose you can dream of from Amazon!!! I have extra if any of you guys need any! So I cut the hose a little long in hopes of not stressing the fittings. What I found is when increasing the LPR pressure you will find out where the hose needs to be straightened out. My little extra loop needed the grip panel to push on the hose- which is janky but hey! No leaks!! Marker cycles now!! My LPR gauge is still dead but I plan to just plug it with a stud.
a big thank you to you guys- it just took one voice to say don't give up. At this point in my life- 2 kids keeps me busy so I have a valuable hour or two in the morning to dedicate to projects- and I was stressin about this one (unnecessarily)- I sort of chalked it up to a failure.
I'll get some video of paint going through it. Next for this marker-
repair the aftermarket bolt
install that sweet scm3 when it comes in
figure out that valve and maybe get that thing back in here
thanks for all the support MCB!👍 4Comment

Ok, still having trouble cycling. I rebuilt the solenoid, rebuilt the ram. I am suspecting my dwell settings might be off! The Chaos board manual online is a little bit confusing. I set dwell for 13 clicks just prior to running out of air and things were sounding great! I cant believe i overlooked how i was doing the dwell settings. but what they have listed seems strange, 1 blink -2.5ms, 2 blinks =3.0ms, 3blinks is 3.5ms- fast foward on their chart and the next value is 15 blinks is 18 ms, 16 blinks is 18.5ms. If every blink represents a 0.5mks increase-14 blinks would be 9ms- and then 15 blinks just doubles it? seems like a typo somewhere. I think my dwell now is set to 8.5ms. I will test again when i get some air this friday!👍 2Comment

You are doing great getting it running, looping the hose from the noid to ram housing is a good idea . A few other things you could do if you want.
1. magnetic trigger
2. Bolt reduction
3. I used a rechargeable battery and used a micro connector to make a battery “Splice” . I hated you had to remove part of the grip frame to replace the battery.
4. Make your own gripsLast edited by Sneak Miester; 10-31-2026, 05:45 PM.my feedback😎 2Comment

So I got the marker cycling great! Turned out the not cycling was from my dwell setting - after I put the stock Lasoya board in I went through and reprogrammed everything. Got the marker shooting +\- 4 fps over the chrono but I still had a leak.
this morning I went and reworked my hoses and blamo!leaks fixed Sneak Meister I like your style thank you for the suggestion!
next up is repair the aftermarket bolt (needs a spring and ball bearing)
get some grips on this puppy
replace the gauge which got hung up in transit!! I am seeing progress!Attached Files👍 5☕ 1Comment

Ok fellas, i threw the new gauge on- everything was good but i was noticing the LPR reg would slowly creep up and the leak would eventually come back! I would take a shot and it would jump down, bolt would go loose and it would slowly climb up, bolt would cock back but then the pressure would get too high. I posted a video on ICD-O and one of the guys said to check the reg seal.
The reg seal in my LPR was from the stock LPR, which although they looked the same-im guessing theres a huge difference in durometer. I put a CUP seal in from ICD-into the LPR where the reg seal was and BAM. no more reg creep. no more leaks. this thing is solid. I will get some better pictures of the overall marker tonight, i just threw some fresh FF grip panels on and this thing is looking sweet. I'll get a shooting video up this weekend as well!Attached FilesComment
