Second update on the “apocalyptic” thanks Cal440 for the perfect description of this shooter. Decided on doing the bucket changer , bolt pin and threw on some brass fittings. Now it’s done.

Yea it was kind of some hours put into it. First I took all the parts down to bare aluminum then gave them a good scuff down and found on the later pieces that if I left some faint black it made the parts look older with some faint black showing through. I bought a chemical you mix one part patina and one part acid.
Pieces all were coated with this solution and works pretty fast the longer the darker.
Rinsed all pieces clean with water and applied a clear lacquer over all the parts. Just time consuming but worth it to me.

I'm really loving that green on the Ripper body.

NONOBLITUS I can't speak to it with the stock valve as I dropped the Lazarus in it right away.
The quality of the components is very nice. It's definitely well manufactured. Nicest gun I currently own. The trigger pull is CRISP and snappy. Stock hammer has a rounded pin. The frame feels nice and slender with the stock grips.
I'm really impressed with the pump handle/back-block adjustability. The pump spring tension is adjustable and you can essentially cut all the slack on it with.
Shoots nice and quiet with that Lazarus valve. Looking forward to hitting the field, but it'll be a few weeks at least before I can.

Sounds like they did a solid build. Looking forward to your field review
