when you increase the tension you also shorten the pump stroke. Let's suppose you want the strongest pump stroke but when the tension knob is all the way in, the bolt does not clear the chamber. Adjust the pump stroke further by adjusting the 10-32 cap screw in the front of the guide rod. Vice Versa, if you lighten the pump stroke it could make the stroke too long. I used a little dow 33 on the guide mine was noisy, felt like a DJ scratching the record.

Thanks for the detailed pictures and posting them. I have been on the fence on whether to get one of these. I really have no need but I do like some of the changes they have made in the platform especially the bearing pump/pump guide. I have day dreamed about doing something similar but with linear bearings in the past but never got around to attempt it.

Setup notes and thoughts:
I tried to get the Meteor tuned in but I’m only hitting about 200fps the the Karni HPR and the current springs. I’ll
liekly swap the main spring for something a little firmer.
The pump stroke feels nice and the knob at the front of the pump does not bother me at all. I wear gloves when I play but not when I tune, but find everything pretty comfortable bare handed.
Given I’m going to have to play with springs anyways, very tempted to drop my Lazarus valve into this. On the other hand though I want to try to get a feel for the marker in its original form before modifying and seeing what different it makes.
