I figured I would start fresh with a thread for projects. I'll start with this clean brass in a bin.

Also working on a second build at the same time. This one's one of my signature single shots for Chuck E Ducky1 PhotoComment

Back to the first build of the thread, got the slot and quick strip cut, ready to add a transfer tube and start soldering. This one's gonna be a stock looking PGP with the Freak barrel inserts.1 PhotoComment

On another note, had a WALZ on the bench. This one belongs to Chuck E Ducky currently. This is a masterpiece that I felt unworthy to take a torch to, but it was leaking from the air fitting here so I got it fixed up. Ive been humbled after seeing the craftsmanship close up. He's a true brass master and I'm lucky to be able to make my projects happen because of his contributions. Thank you WALZ for the knowledge you've put out there.2 PhotosComment

Super stoked to have this up and running. It’s been on the wall too long. Glad you were able to repair her. She’s to sexy to sit on the sidelines. Take it for a spin let me know what you think. It points really nice. -
I already want to make one for myself. I like how short it is for being a rifle. It feels great in the hands

Last one for today, maybe. Got this all soldered up, ready for clean up and a FSR cut feed.1 PhotoComment

Well it's not done, but it's really close.1 PhotoComment

Came up with a way to be able to change inserts without tools. Also this is getting a left offset feed now.4 PhotosComment

Very close to the finish line on this one. Don't worry all the plastic won't be staying on here once it's complete.1 PhotoComment

Polished up, almost ready to go to Impactfour. Just need to do some testing before I send it on its way.1 PhotoComment

Sergison just sent me photos of the rosewood grips for the k frame this morning, so I went ahead and ordered a matching turning blank, threaded inserts and some brass rod to make a pump that matches the grips. Now I just need to find a good way to turn a drill into a lathe. -
Awesome. I've seen some diy wood lathes on the YouTube, you can probably build one with a quick trip to the hardware store. -
We've got a pretty nice drill press at work, I've seen an option or two for both diy and pre-fabbed kits to convert a drill press to be a vertical lathe. That might end up being the right route to go, we will see.
