Is building an autococker worth it

Has anyone here played with one of those dye ultralite sliders, they have really caught my attention, do they work with standard slider parts or do you need the dye specific stuff

I have one. I love it. If you like UL frames, you'll like this. I think it'll take stock trigger plates, but the sear sits up a bit higher than normal. That could cause compatibility issues. I have Nummech's Telos kit, and it didn't work in that. So I kept it in my Benchmark.

I use the stock FreeFlow guts that came with it.

And yeah, I make good money now. But when I originally signed up, way before the hack, I was a pretty big loser making minimum wage and working part time, with no real ambition. Thankfully I turned things around. Lol

The ul frames will work with almost any post 98 plate and standard thickness sear. The freeflow sear geometry is a bit different and pushes the sear down more than a normal plate.

Yeah the DYE frames are pretty nice. I'd highly recommend replacing the stock trigger plate with a chrome plated one. The stock plate is a bit gritty feeling. It does come with a nice roller sear though, so once you swap the plate out they're fantastic.

I was gonna get it gut free and put parts in it myself, how much are trigger plates and roller sears

Like I said, the sear that comes in it is really good, you won't see much benefit in swapping it out.

Autocockerparts.com has trigger plates and roller sears for $20 each. I'd use those over anything else.

I have been using the shocktech plates in mine and seems to tighten it up some.

Yes it will work for mech cocker too. And from what I remember it was working well with stock valve too.

I am about to test one on my halfblock sniper pump I am building.

I use the SLPS kit in both of my mech cockers. One has a stock valve, the other has a Rat.

I'd say so, If you can build/tune a cocker, you'll be very adept at working on other guns if you wanna find stuff you like to work on. I got this project build at my local field from a guy that wanted to try mech/building his own cocker, but lacked the drive/tinkering willingness to get it going. Got it for 200 bucks with the right feed body, dye frame, sconi metal elbow, full inception pneumatics, and a stock reg, I added the asa/upgraded reg for me. All it needed was a 3 way o ring and timing the 3 way. Having some knowledge about the guns your interested in can help you pick up a good deal once and awhile.

found this new in package mini orracke body for $80, its drilled but i really dont care, never thought id own an orracle either but here i am with a brand new body, and the dye frame is oh so nice, i hope this thing stays pretty light to, the eagle body ima turn into a pump

Got some ID parts as well, thought the cocking rod was for a mini but turns out it's for a full length cocker, also what are these little plastic ring things, only thing I can think of is front hose retaining rings or whatever yall call them

The plastic rings are collars that go over your pneumatic hoses where they attach to the barbs to help the hoses stay on. Personally I don’t use them but I use different hoses than the ones Inception Designs includes with their parts.
