I never heard of that trick, great tip ! Will you have to replace the grip frame for this mod?

I don't think so. I haven't started messing with them yet, but from a few pictures I've seen everything should be pretty straight forward. The stock air line looks to be about 5/16" OD or so, which I think is about what 1/8npt braided line is. The stock line looks like it's just a 1/8 npt to 1/8 Ferrell coupling at the valve. So I'm hoping it just threads right in and I won't need an adapter.

I have a few 13" and one 10" braided lines. Hopefully one of them will work. (Actually, hopefully it's the 13" since then I can modify both of my Pro-Lites. Lol)

It will thread into the valve, but you'll need some sort of adapter at the ASA in the frame.

Thanks for the heads up. Is it compression into the ASA?

The valve is 1/8npt threaded, but the ASA also uses a compression fitting. You'll have to use some sort of adapter for that. Or maybe just see about using a different tube with those compression fittings?

I don't have cheap access to that small of copper or steel tubing. (ie, we don't use it at work. Lol) I do, however, have very easy access to all sorts of fittings. I'm certain I can find a 1/8 Ferrell male to 1/8 npt female coupling.

I keep saying 1/8 Ferrell, but I think that's incorrect. Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm pretty sure compression fittings are OD, so I'd need 1/4 Ferrell to 1/8 npt.

I am on my second Minilite pickup from eBay recently. 😝 one of them is set up as a PDW style with a RTR cram and jam feed adapter and an ICD lever changer and a SP Boss barrel. It doesn’t get many shots off a 12 gram but it sure is fun!

I just took apart my stock prolite frame. I think you'll have a very hard time with steel braided due to how tight the bends are. You could maybe use macroline (feels weird saying that) since the stock hose looks to be macro. It might be difficult finding macro with the actual appropriate pressure rating that has a larger ID. Your best bet would probably be either getting a .45 frame and then run whatever you want or some stainless tubing in the stock frame.

Pre2k sniper 2 with palmers stabilizer. Best CO2 gun I've ever shot.

This I can confirm. I had a pre-2k sniper and it ran beautifully with a vertical 4oz. I miss the vertical tank setups.
