92more days until second shot, hope we get more advanced doses deliveries so it can be had under 60… would certainly help plan things depending what restrictions is still in place. -
So happy that everyone's on board.
I'll throw this out there for everyone: If anyone has any friends or family that are hesitant or have questions, I'd be happy to hop on Zoom with them.Leave a comment:

I’m WAY late to this thread. Been a lot of fun reading through it.
I got my second Pfizer shot a week ago, so one week to elevated peace of mind. I only had a sore injection site for a day from the first stab. The second lasted a few days longer, and I had joint pain the day after. Washing my hands made my knuckles throb - that was an odd sensation.
My wife has been really hesitant; she just got the J&J today after doing more research on the blood clotting issue that led to the pause a few weeks back. She and I disagree on whether the kids should get the vaccine. Overall they’ll likely be healthy either way, but I’m concerned they could pass it on to someone else who is either hesitant or unable to get vaccinated because of allergies. I love my community too much to be a carrier. I think she’ll come around eventually - she loves our community too, but is concerned about vaccine safety. I get it.
I’m glad this community has been pretty lighthearted about all the silly conspiracies swimming around. The comments about third testicles, Tylenol, and Bill Gates have made me cry from laughing so hard 🤣Leave a comment:

On Thursday I’ll be two weeks into my second Fizzer shot, zero symptoms or discomfort of any kind.Leave a comment:

I warmed up to maybe 101 briefly, but mostly around 99.5 the day after #2. Lasted for maybe 4 or 5 hours. The arm was real sore again though, and that lasted around 3 days this time around. This was on Moderna.
Well worth it for the peace of mind though!Leave a comment:

I didn't realize the AZ shots were that far apart, interesting. I wonder why the mechanism on that one is so different -

Oof, that sucks. I didn't have any issues with needles for a long time. Suddenly a few years ago I started feeling tense when I saw the needle coming so now I look away and try to focus on relaxing.
My jabber (don't know if she was a nurse, doc, or other) was really good with the needle this time. Barely felt it going in and didn't feel it coming out (my first poor experience with a needle was a nurse dragging it sideways as she pulled it out) -
ha, i got nurse ratched. she gave me 2 band-aids; one for the entrance wound and one for the exit wound.
god, i hate needles lol

Not necessarily - sometimes your immune system ramping up makes you feel like poop. The second dose is when your B cells and T cells get REAL pissed. They take that one personally. It's the difference between a bank security guard knowing to watch out for a guy in a raincoat and ten security guards getting in everyone's face checking for raincoats. The upside is that once they chill a little bit, the extra guards stick around for a while, and heaven help anyone in a raincoat during that time. -
Just got stuck today.....
How long till I can shoot burning windows logos out of my eyes?
I kid.... LolLeave a comment:
