Seeing Gojira and Deftones in a couple weeks. The Acacia Strain is rolling through town in July, so that's a must. I talked Mrs Z into going to Less Than Jake and Bowling For Soup with me, so that should be a blast.
I was supposed to see Parkway Drive with Hatebreed and The Black Dahlia Murder, but PD canceled the tour and then, well, we tragically lost Trevor.

Saw Joan Jett, Def Leppard & Motley Crue last night in Nashville. Pretty awesome show. Poison was supposed to be there but Bret Michaels was in the hospital. I’ve had these tickets since 2019 so I’m just glad it finally happened. It was postponed for about 45 minutes because of lightning but it cleared right up & the rest of the night was nice.

I had not been to a live concert in over 5 years but I was able to see Rammstein and Heilung within about 4 weeks of each other in August/September. Both powerful performances all in German / proto-Germanic that featured fire and other striking theatrics, but one was at US Bank Stadium, the other a 2,000 person venue.

If they don’t reschedule again I’ll have to make a choice and it will be Avalanches.

Fuck man, Avalanches are fucking great live, if they ever make up the date catch them

Yeah, I’ve heard every set of theirs I can find and the newest record is one of my favorite by anyone ever. They were a major inspiration for me DJ-wise and I’m still into them 20 years on.
Since they’re complaining they lost money on the tour I’m afraid I’ll have to go to Melbourne to see them.

Was really looking forward to seeing Borknagar while on the "devastation on the nation" tour in 2020 but covid put an end to that, and then again in 2021. When 2022 came around, the bar/venue ended up closing their doors and then got hit by a firetruck. I really wish they would change the name of that tour.

Saw Weird Al finally two weeks ago after the show got postponed last year due to covid. Awesome show.
Just picked up tickets to see Ghost and Amon Amarth in August in Milwaukee. Really excited to see Amon Amarth, I really got into them about 5 years ago and am able to go to shows again now that the kids are older and my work schedule allows it.
