Just saw Filter, Ministry, Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie on 9/3. All of them were great except for Ministry, they were absolutely terrible. Plan on seeing Breaking Benjamin and Staind on 9/10.
Who are you going to see?

Saw John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan, and Willie Nelson, in that order, yesterday at the World Music Theater. Was incredible. Guys next to us were tripping balls having an amazing time. I was hitting my dugout and was pretty ripped for Willie. Will never forget seeing The Last Leaf On The Tree.

The wife and I are at Out if the Blue Festival this week. It's a 5 day all inclusive music festival hosted in the Moon Palace in Mexico. Last year we came to the first one, and I got word my mom passed when we arrived... It was hard, but honestly I believe I needed the time to grieve.
We came back for a better expierence this year. I'll say I've leaked much less than last year, bit I can't say it's been a leak free trip.
day three down.
I highly recommend.

I saw Obituary, The Crystal Method, and Rabbit In The Moon at the tail end of last year. The Obituary show was a warmup show for the tour they are currently on with Sepultura. There were like 150 people there and it was great.
Going to see DJ Hell in Milwaukee in February, and Posthuman is playing here in March or April- whenever we can lock in a date & venue. 🤘Comment

Went and saw Weird Al on Sunday night with the wife and one of the kids. Apart from the thunderstorms and getting soaked, it was a great show.Comment

Last Wednesday night I got to see Babymetal, Jinjer, and Bloodywood at the Armory in Minneapolis.
Probably the nerdiest audience ever for a metal concert, I fit right in. 🤓Comment

A little while ago I went to a bar I'm at with coworkers often enough to see some indie bands. Moonbae (meh, but they cancelled anyway), Guilty By Design (kind of like The Cure but frustrated instead of sadboy), and the headliner HXNCLB, or Crunk Witch.
Music written by modern optimistic nerds, with all the energy of 80s electronic pop.
Not sure I'd say they're objectively amazing, but definitely fun.Comment

I just got home from seeing Sierra Ferrell at Surly Brewing. That was a show for my wife, but I enjoyed it quite a lot.1 PhotoComment
