Going to see The Black Crowes this summer. When my brother came back from basic training with his pay, he went on a little bit of a spending spree. He bought a nice stereo, clothes & a bunch of cd’s. Shake Your Money Maker was one of those cd’s & i listened to it start to finish probably every day for weeks. Can’t wait. The air will be thick with medical marijuana that night.

I got to go see Circle Jerks and Fear both this last year. This coming week i'll be going to see Gwar and Later this summer I have tickets to see Marilyn Manson & Rob Zombie. With any luck i'll be able to score tickets to a few more shows too.

Pretty good show but just before Bush came on the temp dropped & the wind really picked up. We had gotten some light sprinkles earlier but probably 3/4 in it started to really rain. Not a monsoon or anything but enough to make it fairly miserable so we left. I’m typically not one to walk out on movies, concerts, comedy shows, etc but that was the trifecta.

Saw Hinder tonight. Wasn’t really a planned thing but it was fun. Daughtry was on after them but i had to leave before then.

Saw Carpenter Brut last night. They're my wife's favorite band, she's been dying to see them for years. I think I won her over on our first date simply by knowing who they were haha. Anyway, it was a great show!! Great setlist, and my wife even joined the wall of death with me!!

Saw the Black Crowes & Whiskey Myer last night. Really good show but i was about to leave disappointed that BC didn’t play a few of their songs that i was sure they would. They came back out for an encore & sang most of the ones i had been waiting on.

Almost did! Just to be sure i didn’t miss anything, i stayed a good hour & a half after everyone else left. Finally, a guy that was cleaning up came around.

Guy: The concert is over dude.
Me: How can you be so sure?
Guy: I saw their tour bus pull out over an hour ago.
Me: ……5 more minutes.

Saw Filter and Alter Bridge last week. The guitarist for Alter Bridge is local and I do like a few of their songs, but overall it wasn’t my favorite show. Filter surprised me that they’re still kicking it after 30 years.
