I scored tickets to see Dry Cleaning in September in Detroit. I'm VERY excited to see them, plus go to the venue. Its taking place in a fixed up portion of the old Packard Plant. Which was the absolute definition of urban decay a few years back.

I got tickets to see my wife’s favorite artist, carpenter brut, in April. He’s from France and almost never makes it to the states so we’re really excited about it. It’ll also be my first concert since 2019.

I think I’m going to go see Trampled by Turtles and The Turnpike Troubadours together in November. These are two of my favorites so I’m squaring away babysitting for that one.

just saw Blink 182, state champs, jimmy eat world, knuckle puck, and driveways at a really local festival. It was awesome, but beware of the Beatbox drinks that have been popping up at festivals, those little guys will mess you up, they got me at warped tour too.

I hate to say it, but it really wasn’t that great. At least half the show was him singing. Not funny songs a-la Adam Sandler. Elvis, Roy Orbison, etc. Wasn’t expecting that at all. He mumbled a lot of the rest of his set too. I’ve been looking forward to this months. All in all a major disappointment.

100%. The video kicks ass too. My GF got me into them. The live performance videos on YT arent that good but supposedly the shows are decent.

Got tickets for Weird Al. My sister got me Fat for Christmas or my birthday one year. Don’t remember which. I listened to that CD soooo many times. The show isn’t until October of next year though. Hope it’s worth the wait.

Got tickets to see Bush in April. Can’t wait. I wore Sixteen Stone out when it was first released. I liked Razorblade Suitcase too but kind of fell off after that. Still pretty excited to see them.

"Sixteen Stone" is still one of my all-time favorite albums, and I still frequently listen to it in its entirety. "Razorblade Suitcase", and "The Science of Things" are also two of my favorite albums. "Golden State" I never really got into, though admittedly, I've only listened to it like once, and I find sometimes I don't enjoy an album until I listen to it right state of mind/situation. I've not listened to anything more recent.

Yes it does...answering for a friend.

I remember one year in Vegas they had the Cannabis expo next to the AVN's.

The year before that they put the Cannabis Expo next to the LEO convention...It felt a little like Fear and Loathing...

Saw them Friday night at the United Center last year. 4th time seeing them. They seems way better than when I saw them 3 days in a row at Alpine 2022. That Friday show at the United Center was a barn burner! First set ends, and I was like "how the hell can they top that"! Then I get my first WGTYM. And I knew that I was hearing something legitimately special. What was your first show? .

Manson/Rob Zombie/The Hu at Darien Lake in August.

Teenage me would have been freaking out (adult me still is a bit 🙂).
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

I saw Lissie live in Minneapolis in early January. Part of a five-part residency. Really great show. This isn't her song, but probably what she is best known for online.

Phish, whenever they announce this years summer tour. I would like to finally make it to Deer Creek outside Indianapolis. Rumor is they will play The Kohl Center, for the first since 1998. If so, I gotta make the opening night! I wish they would come back to Tinley Park. Which they also have skipped since Farm Aid 98. WHAT'S GOING THROUGH YOUR MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND MIND! XD
