This is amazing, I just picked up a NOS 05 racegun half block. I hope to re enter the sport with it. If your selling components, I will be a customer for sure

Looks like I cant even respond to a PM. I did get your pricing, very reasonable. I will be in contact, once my marker arrives. I picked this up, the barrel is missing. Probably a long shot, but do you have or know of a place to get the factory color matched barrel? This marker was never aired, or ran. I assume it will need some work from sitting.

Mr. D. Apollo, do you still have any of those batteries available?
I sold all of my autocockers off (infact that blue dye prototype was in my collection at one time maybe 15 years ago. I remember the person I got it from stripped a mounting screw, sold it off as parts).
I have a 04 DC Excal with a custom frame milled for the racegun board. My batteries I have work but are on the dead end. If the batteries you made are the same size as the originals it will work for me.
I run the Monkey Firmware programing which has all ramping modes. There is a monkey firmware that was made for the freeflow 9v frames that circumvented the charging error. A 9v plugged into a board with firmware for a rechargeable battery would make it think it was receiving a charge from the cable.
The Monkey Firmware for the 9v frames is the only one I can not find. Here is a PBnation thread with a dead DL link.

Yes I did own it for a short period. No idea who I got it from or its origin. One person did contact me trying to locate it again. Guess they designed it / prototyped it. Had a real cool BOB twist and pull. May have been standard for the dye backblock though. If that hole was not stripped I would have probably used it.
I had a good handful of cockers up till about 2010. Most were race frame guns or actual racegun HB guns. Had several FBM gothics, FFlows, rippers, powerlyte hybrids, zforce, turtle cockers..
My first high end tinker toy was a freeflow lotus racegun in like 03. The excal just made sense. Sell em all, get a frame milled for the race electronics and parts and stop tinkering for closed bolt.
I remember many people knocking on the raceframe... gotta charge it from the wall, cant change the battery at the field, gotta use a program/PC to tune, the eblade 1/2 is "superior"..... yah, yah, yah.... look at todays markers. Charge by wire/pad, program by USB or bluetooth programing. Same shit. Race was ahead of their time.
If you have a racegun and need a ramping mode for modern play you need the Monkey Love Firmware. It was the last option for these markers to advance them beyond the standard modes race offered.
i just need that 9v Monkey Love firmware for the freeflow frames and can just run a 9v and power extension wires under a tank cover.

I do have one battery left in stock. You wont be able to PM me or respond to a PM for a few more posts, but I can set it aside for you.
I also have most of the firmware, manuals and RIP, on my public google drive including the Monkey firmware (3.0.5), though it is not the 9v version (3.0.7). I do have the 9v FreeFlow firmware on there (2.0.4).
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B1XbE0oXpPX7OHMtd3NfUV9yWDA?resourcekey=0-Kl1HPuf0olqObkllYJ9Y9A&usp=drive_link
The 4.0.0 firmware has all of the firing modes and it is recommended for any V2 board unless you specifically want the 9v firmware. When Race came out with that, there was no real reason to have the Monkey firmware besides having an existing 9v frame. V2 boards are also more than capable with 10.5 caps on the 4.0 firmware.
RIP with 4.0.0 Firmware (on the Boarderlands gun currently)
The batteries I make are standard AAAA size and not the 5/3AAAA, but they are still 600mAh. They will fit in all of the grips but are about 3/4" shorter.
About the Boarderlands gun... It seems to be some kind of unicorn. Ive had it for at least 15 years and it has been a wall hanger due to that screw. One day I will get it fixed and get it out to the field. It is all built now. I tried to make it look period correct with brass pneumatics. The earliest pictures I have of it in my possession are from January 2010, so I must have bought it sometime in 2009. IF I recall, I bought it off the Nation as just a bunch of parts, and if you say you had it about 15 years ago, it might have actually been from you. The bolt is the Dye twist-lock style, though the bolt thumb grip has been damaged making it hard to turn.
I had someone years ago reach out on The Nation with info about it, but those PM's are long gone. If I recall the story, it was just some random milling job Dave was testing out in the back room of a paintball shop. Of course, that is 3rd hand information "I know about that gun. A buddy of mine was friends with Dave and he said that this happened" deal. Over the years, I have had people pop up saying they have info on it, or remember seeing it in the early days, or knew a guy who knew its origin, but I have never been given any concrete info. I did reach out to Dave on Facebook but since Im a nobody, I probably wont get a response.
This is from January 2010. Hard to imagine that I sold off that Karni and WarpSports Dark Timmy (which I am trying to get back. The guy I sold it to said he still has it) ...

I need to look at my firmware again. I know I had the last one from raceguns.dk but was sure there were zero ramp settings. But I am clearly mistaken since your picture proves otherwise. I saved that ML firmware website and all it had to offer. Maybe it was the eye logic for my reasoning.
I use the palm also to do on the fly timing but I use a one drive palm pilot. Kinda a nicer almost bluberry like palm. They all do the same thing.
I would like to purchase that battery. How many posts do I need to do to PM?
I sold my timmies and while I do miss them its not a regret. The spare parts were dried up and aftermarket companies had moved on to other platforms. That was another reason also not to mess with cockers anymore. 2k2 and 2k5 BL Intimdators just worked always. And the milling options were just sick.
I may have some race parts you want /need. I know you mentioned sears. I only use the board, pad and backplug electronics so none of the other stuff matters but seems you can use them.
Ill do some more post so I can PM.

I have the Palm VII for field work but I havent had to use it since the late 2000’s.
IF I RECALL, the Monkey firmware completely rewrote the board logic. Trigger filter, interrupts, eye logic, etc. I never used it and just going off of old memory of some stuff I read. I might have the info in docs on my google drive. Everything on there was sent to me by Jim Walton and Dean Foreman.
When I was doing tech work I always just updated the boards that were sent to me to tune unless the customer requested otherwise. I never had one come in with the Monkey FW already loaded.
Ill take any spare parts you may have. Ive had a user patiently waiting for a sear. I have a bunch made but Ive been having trouble finding a place to do a proper heat treat so they are not hardened yet.
