Dug this out of my parents house, purchased new in ‘95 or so, my first semi. “Upgraded” to the power feed. Been sitting for the last 15 years at least but replaced a couple of o-rings and it’s shooting again.
My first real marker I ever bought. Got it brand new some time in late 90s. My well loved Tippmann Pro/carbine. Pretty basic these days with a tippmann A5 barrel and mini drop forward. Switched the trigger spring from one I took outa a school bus Door release handle(Fixed school busses for a living back then and oddly enuff doing that again these days). This poor things been used and abused for 20 years. Just a great reliable fun shooter. I have had most tippmann models since this and they just never seem to compare to this things build quality and character.
Then When tippmann re released the SL68II I jumped on A new one as I always thought they looked super cool and love that it’s a Nelson with a external velocity adjuster. Swapped out the Stock big barrel for a .680 brass palmers barrel. Awesome small light shooter. Hands down one of my favourite pumps.
Wait, so do normal blazer barrels fit the SL68II or did you custom order one? I recently stumbled across one and was thinking of getting a nicer barrel for it
Freak barrel with modified Prolite shroud
Metal APP Single Trigger frame
Metal Aftermarket Feedneck
Ramped Stock Bolt
Polished and enlarged Power Tube
Polished Striker & Sear Assembly
Proline RVA (now matching)
Update:
The Proline RVA now matches as well!
Damn this thing shoots as good as it looks! On it's maiden field time it only took 4 games of rec ball before it had 15 eliminations under its belt already. Just ball on ball accurate. It is unquestionably the best shooting Tippmann I've ever owned.
Pro-Lite with a 68 carbine grip frame. Fluted cup seals (Bret G style) polished valve body, polished hammer, Spyder valve spring, TASO RVA. Runs great on HPA!
Here's my old A5. Pulled her out of 10+ years of storage, ordered a few parts, and brought her back to life.
This is a gen 1 A5 with a fang trigger kit, hammerhead barrel, tac stock, some camo wrap, and an 80 round offset tac hopper. I think im gonna pull one of the rings on the hopper to make it a little shorter. I'd have like a 70 round capacity.
I've got a cyclone upgrade kit as well but am waiting to get an RT set up before I throw it on.
