Just to me it seems like you can go get a 2k4 cocker which is already center feed and at that same price I would expect some decent parts.

Or, I could get a right feed slab slide and have some really nice parts.... And a single trigger for around the same price

I just don't see a huge market for these. Even here, which let's be honest is pretty much the mecha for pumps and old school stuff nobody in this thread seems all that excited about it. Maybe marketing towards players just getting into pump?

I agree. Nova saying that the autococker has been rehashed to hell and then dropping an ugly, unrefined pump with no input from the community is laughable.

It's great that they're trying something, like that LPR/3way combo, but currently this sniper is a dud.

If I'm buying a private label sniper, why would I want it to look like.... Well, that?

Their video on the cocker mentioned aluminum hammer which would be odd. Who knows if the pump will end up having the option for single trigger but highly doubt it. Could there be slop in the pump handle since no secondary guide rod? Likely. The ano in the above example looks very thin and blotchy.

I enjoy the colours Nova uses. Black is boring.

That was my exact thought. This literally looks like a parts bin cocker, and not one that I would be particularly fond of. The body just looks like a standard slab and the back block doesn't follow the same concepts. The frame looks like ones that I consider the absolute least desirable in a System X swing. And I'm not in love with that pump kit on the front either. I wish anyone working on cockers the best, and hope it does well for them---but this isn't for me.

We’re always happy to hear about more testing, especially after some other nameless recent releases.

Agree with both of you. It's not needed standard but needs to be an option if they want to sell quantity.

Id be happy with 3 rods, because quad rod can be a pain. but the twist will kill it for sure.
Working...
