Our Pump/Semi will go live tomorrow, a lot of people have thought we were out of stock already but what they have seen on our site are just place holders. We did release a few models at ION and again at Michigan Monster Game mainly for test purposes. We would have already released to the public but mainly my fault we haven't. I wanted to really test a lot more till I was satisfied with the results that I was seeing back. As far our cocker pump goes yes we are going to release with our new hinge frame but we will be doing a slider frame I'm sure in the near future. We are currently going with this decision in order to offer a combo kit in the very near future that includes both our new Auto-cocker semi and the front for our Sniper style pump to keep the cost down for the end user. There are a lot of options that are included with our new marker that the drawing just doesn't show.

I don’t think I’m speaking for just myself when I say that there is no point in making a sniper that isn’t as good as the Empire Sniper was the last time they manufactured some and it was pretty good. Ugly, but good. “Good” includes autotrigger that works reliably. It also has to have a single trigger. It’s not a pressure washer it’s a gun. Slider or swing, that part is very much secondary, I personally do not care, it has to be single though. Even a PGP frame is better than the 90s caulk gun/strength tester style. Also, go “quad rod”, seriously. If making an all new gun there’s no reason not to. The quality of the pump stroke is what sells a pump. If it twists it’s not so great.

I LOVE that it’s full block and the ano is so cool. I’m very excited for this.

The concept of a convertible breach has been shared with them.

With Nova doing the neat things they're doing, I hope they offer a RF option for this. I heavily doubt it, but I'm not buying a brand new pump gun unless it's a R/L feed. I can dream, anyway.

This thing looks like a VERY rough/early design. Lots of things to tweak and add/subtract.

I wonder what their idea of "affordable$$$" is. And I have no problem allowing for time, but this post tells me they don't know what they're doing at the moment. Kind of a vague word salad.

looks like a systemX hinge. very much needs a single trigger. an auto trigger cam would make it much more desirable as a shooter.

Some other sloppy bits like why the front end and the pump guide aren't both round?
    P block would be better.

I'm really glad to see Nova jumping in and serving this niche market, but I hope they listen to the feedback they are getting. The early concept looks like a parts bin gun. When Meteor is selling their pump for $400, they've got a tough act to follow.

The only reason a "new" Cocker based pump has any "classic" features is to feed off nostalgia, so to bitch about people wanting a single trigger frame doesn't make sense to me. Otherwise, why bother with a backblock and full-size body?

There's a reason the classics don't change much are still beloved. That's like saying "the 69 Mustang is just such an old design, we need to make a hybrid version, modified retro"

I'd wager a decent amount that the barrel is designed for the Nova inserts, as that's what comes with all of their other markers.

I hope they put them into testers hands too. Referring to the phoenix.

It may not be required, but i can say that having it as a designed optional add on will significantly increase the sales to not having one.
Working...
