    The scrapening.....

I'm exiting the BST game and anything deemed "not worth keeping for a potential booth in the future" is going to the scrap yard.

It's been a long run but I'm done buying stores out and the world just doesn't need some of the stuff I have left that I don't want.

Going through my autococker parts this morning, I realize that I have almost everything to get the old Sonic back on the field. It is unfortunately missing a few of the original components but I'm it sure it'll be a hoot to play with!

Gonna necro (not too bad) this thread, because I just started a project entirely based around a single “part”.

Found this 👇 in the parking lot as I walked back to my car after visiting a customer..

Just needs some paint, and the I can add the site. Shooting FSRs a little hot right now (299-310) on 12g in 20* weather and a red spring…but I can tune it down.

Think I might get one of these grips for it.
I’m making a sing/sheath so I can carry it as a “back up”

AnarchicArctic I bounced back and forth on where to mill for the bolt handle (actually considered doing BOTH sides at one point)

I grew up shooting right handed bolt action rifles left handed, so working the bolt is easier for me with my right hand (and actually made a bit more sense)

Unfortunately, I don’t have enough control with my right hand to hand load a round after all. Turns out so really should have kept the one I picked up from you…live and learn). Opening this breech more made a huge difference for me though.

I’ve been practicing for HOTH in case I see any Mandalorians in the distance…

I wonder if adding a 3d printed back board would help load the road with a thumb instead of trying to place it in the slot. Not sure if that made sense or not.

I think I know what you mean. It would give the round something to “sit against” while you pushed it in from the side making it quicker/easier to hand load. This was cut from a OC phantom who’s neck broke, so I couldn’t leave any extra meat on the opposite side.

I can actually load relatively quickly and consistently now. Just took a little bit of practice and I don’t have many misdeeds where the round rotates either.

One advantage of it being so open is if you do have a misfeed, there is enough space to get your fingers in there to correct it.

So.... I have this VM that needed a grip frame of some kind, since I stole the grip mount off of it to go on my KP... and I have an Impulse frame I got in a box of SP stuff... and I really like Chaos 's VMs with the Shocker frames....

      So I started building this:

Impy frame, removed ASA and drilled out for extra volume, soon to have a VASA, and.... I converted it to vertical feed because I wanted to be different. 🙂
And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

About halfway through this one... inception pump kit, shockteck guts (rat valve, springs, phat hammer, cocking rod), ANS quick pull bolt, 45 frame from autococker parts. Will be adding a green cp barrel kit, green cp reg, green cp detent, blue cp rail with on/off asa. Looking forward to seeing how it shoots when it's all together.

Currently working on a CCM series 5. Nearly done updating pneumatics to full INception kit. Then i'll try and decide what I want to do with the frame. I like it well enough, but They are also desireable enough that I could probably move it to help me pry one of those new FF UL frames off someone.

This one needs an anno, and I am in the process of making a decent front grip for it. Related to this, I really need to find someone to make me an aluminum set of grips, and I want a brass or aluminum jewel sticker replacement and engrave something on it.

I don't intend to keep the warp on it, whenever PPS sends me that Blazer, it is going on there, but I figured I had the parts to cobble together a warp to play around with in the meantime. Right now, I have the Sci-fi board, an Angel A4 frame on it. I have been playing with the Evil Shocker "The Part" a bit too, but I haven't found if it can increase the limit before shootdown yet.

Edit: Let me add a photo of the frame, it actually adds enough room for your fingers to fit behind the regulator, which I really dig.

Not too hard, basically when I see warp related parts on eBay, I say why not lol I also have another warp feed, but that one is red and none of my other guns are. I especially like the vertical Spyder elbow as a hose attachment lol it is so janky but it works better than I would imagine. Eventually my Angel and Blazer are gonna be warp fed.

I've never used one, and I've only seen one locally. The guy uses it faithfully on his RT mag. I've always wanted a Warp Feed Minimag personally.

Finished setting up my ideal open class Phantom. Bought it as a VSC off a member here, fixed the leaky parts, sold the clear parts, added my old J&J, a JOLO, a dummy 12 gram for a gas-thru foregrip, some braided line, new grips, and a 17ci HPA tank. No leaks, it shoots (not sure about the fps, but I’ll figure it out once I get to a field), and just feels right.

My focus has shifted to getting stuff running so I can sell it. I have an opportunity to get corrective eye surgery, but I want to sell a few things off to at least help fund it. Feels like the right thing to do.

JeepDVLZ45 Oof, that sucks. I'm not allergic, but if they offer it to me I'm gonna ask for a double dose. I have a hefty tolerance for narcotics.

I just want to be able to play paintball without my glasses, not have to clean then all the damn time, or even rock a pair of aviators if I want to. It's something I've been wanting for a long time now. It's finally within reach!

I originally turned down the Valium (I have a very high threshold for pain..or I used to at least, I’ve become a bit of a baby lately). The surgeon talked me into it.

I learned a few things after mine I share with everyone who is getting wi eyes done. I had a bad experience, not “Final Destination” bad, but pretty f-ing close (mine was freakishly out of the ordinary) —- still more than with it though, I’d deal with it all over again if I had to. Part was the Valium, part was a language barrier between me and the surgeon.

1 - take the drops that numb your eyes as you need them…you will 100% have enough!! (I waited until I literally couldn’t physically open my eyes to take mine because I was afraid I’d run out). I could have used them every 45 mins and had some left over after 6 hours of taking them

2 - if you live more then an hour from where you’re getting your eyes done; get a hotel and sleep it off there. The first 3-6 hours after the surgery is gonna be rough.

3 - get a GOOD pair of DARK sunglasses before the surgery, you’re gonna be VERY light sensitive for a while. I used to double up my sunglasses (I taught at the time on a white board and had to wear both pairs so I could function.

4 - a stay away from TV/computer screens and your phone for a day after. It’ll strain the hell out of your eyes.
