Sweet! If people give you regs will you do a recharge rate / consistency chart and interpret the results for us bone heads too?
It's been a while. I want to be able to "ackshully" and tell people how superior vikings are to other guns :P

Haha
I have a bunch of different regs and will do a compare test at some point soon.

I don’t have a specific build I’m trying to finish (I’m working on a bottom-mount magfed mod of a Tippmann 98 with my son, but that’s honestly HIS project).
I loan out a bunch of markers to friends for casual play in the woods, and I want to have more reliability and easier maintenance. My project is replacing all my loaners with Tippmann 98s or A5s because the internals are essentially the same thing (except the valve). They last forever, continue to work when noobs drop them in the dirt, and are easy to work on. I’ll be posting some other guns for sale soon when I’ve got my random loaners replaced with Tippys.Originally posted by Chuck E Ducky:

So, I found Armory paintball had a Shocker body, and I had plenty of extra parts so, why not build a new gun? I want this one to be kinda woodsbally once I am done with it but, it is still in parts:
And your eyes don't deceive you this thing really is going to be a backbottle shocker:
I had to spend alot of time filing that ASA so that the Angel frame would fit right up against it lol. So it is going to be a 2000+ Body Shocker with an Angel IR3 grip frame (which I kinda prefer to me Angel A4 frame I have on my other shocker), a Smart Parts LS Turbo board, with switch relocation hooked to a La Cruzet 85g roller switch. I am going to mount the maxflow on the right side of the ASA and that big high pressure gauge on the left side. I took some Delrin round stock, drilled a hole at a slight angle and tapped it, so it will have an almost 15* front grip which I wrapped in grip tape and it works surpsingly well. I also think I may try and use my Evil Shocker "The Part" to replace the poppet valve. Until I can buy a vertical feed shocker this one is gonna be my project. My other right feed one will be the gun I actually play with lol
Edit: I spent all night messing with it, but now all it needs is the leads connected to an on/off switch, that is the wire hanging out the back, I just didn't have a switch that would fit on hand. I decided the maxflo can sit on my remote instead.

Ok so, made a deal with another member here, he got me a vanguard demon for my father in law and I'm return I picked up a agd 6 pak that was missing a few pieces. But I felt it was nothing I can't handle fabricating so I took on the project. Let's see what happens. Ok, here is what I'm working with. My 6 pak on the left is

Not really a project…more of a modification, but I’m counting it. I’ve had the parts and the general idea for a while. I just needed the “donor” marker…
Going to keep the Cobalt/Flat Grey color scheme. Just need to test and get it out for Cerakoting (I probably won’t re-ano on this one)
edit: as much as I love it. I’m NOT going to keep the cobalt/grey….I have something special planned for this. More parts headed my way (I just need my other T2 back first so I have a marker to play with while this one gets its makeover)Last edited by JeepDVLZ45; 03-19-2022, 07:55 AM.

Still waiting on my yellow Kalibur tank cover to come in from the UK, and I need to fix the reg creep on the maxflo, but this one is almost finished, I modified the Eclipse Impulse trigger to fit, cut the wrap around off the panels, added the Infamous 80ci, swapped out the Turbo board for a Sci-fi board, installed a Master Sconi feedneck, did some thread repair on the grip frame. I found a yellow VL Eye-force cover so I figured why not? Eventually I am going to get this barrel freak bored, but in the meantime I have both stainless and aluminum Shocker freak backs.

This thing is sick. I don't see enough yellow markers these days.
I need one of these covers for my Frankenstein Egg/Force hopper.

I don’t know if I will use it as much as my remote Shockers, but that 80ci tank is pretty manageable. Seems to be the same size as the old school 68s. A far cry from a 114/4500 on a Kapp Drop Zone. But historically I always kept one or two setups that weren’t for remotes because while I do prefer it usually things like hopper ball are best without wearing a pack.

My current HELL. Making Loaders do things they were never designed to do. In this case feed upwards.
I will be completed once the epoxy dries completely. Which is tomorrow. Then have to do it all over again.

I'm working sporadically on 2 Tippmanns a C3 and a B5.
The C3 has a grounding/arcing issue. It will shock the shit out of your hand. However, the igniter is very strong.
The B5 has been a bit of a nightmare in it's own rights. Originally all I thought was wrong was that the battery connector was trashed, after soldering in a new one it turns out the solenoid had one of it's wires ripped out... So I had to order a new solenoid... Turns out the new solenoid has a different diameter wire than the old ones... So I had to very carefully trim single strands off of the wire to make it fit. Haven't had time to put it together yet. Can't wait for all the other things with it.
I installed that new liquid paintball tension trigger in my Emek, pretty neat, but not sold yet. I still prefer the look and size of my infamous one.
I also have a PM6 I need to air up and fix before selling, a cocker than needs gone through before sale, and I need to pack an annihilator up.
