As an update I received an e-mail from Scott and mine is shipping today. I will post up some pictures when I receive it.

It is supposed to be quite different internally. I am interested to see a teardown.

Mine came with a custom made piston l. It was machined out steel, rather than aluminum like the stock ones. Darn thing shot so straight and quiet. I loved it.

I'm really hoping that this has made some actual improvements compared to the Thumper.

Well they did say that they would be doing something for purchasers of the original run. If they do I will probably buy one.


I really liked the first one for the one day of play I got out of it. I got the replacement piston after it kicked the bucket and that failed right away too. I don't remember if I sold it for parts, or tossed it.

The action and shot was really good so it was extra disappointing.

Mr. Hick - it also says “stock class.” I’m sure we all know it’s HPA and we’re just being obnoxious because, in my opinion, seems like a dirty sales tactic.
