Finally got my hands on my phoenix, MI7- 0078.
sadly playing may not happen for another month.

    Observations:
    1) all screws for my build had no issues/were not stripped thread wise.
    2) I understand the crunch every feels and find it to be the captured spring behind the hammer. I'm probably going to file or round the edge down a bit to hopefully improve it.
    3) Do not see the trigger biting into the body or frame yet, but will be watching for it
    4) still the same issue on the 10 rd feed, tubes won't load paint without trimming the feed gate
    5) I feel the detent style is a good cause for chops, if the round leans to one side or the other it will catch the edge of one detent stiffly and stop it from being pushed into its slot.
    6) paint matching on grey is two different shades of grey. Blah not good
    7) the adjustable grip is nice, I feel there is enough material to grab onto. The hose is too short to adjust the asa and grip to the extremes.

Looking forward to see if she shoots well, or has the break issues I believe will happen.

Wondering if I should just order one while I still can. Outlook isn't looking so good for a factory vasa version.

If anyone can make that statement it's the man who did more r&d than metadynes own crew^

I don’t personally recommend it if you actually want to play paintball with it.

Assume that they work out of the box. But expect to tinker with the marker to get everything running smoothly. It's not a play and leave marker.

This is a marker for those who can maintenance and address issues as the happen, as of this moment.

Not a players marker, not good to go multiple weekends without helping the phoenix rise up again.

Anyone running these open class? I'm thinking of picking one up, I play in the South East so don't have to worry much about the colder temps! Any improvement in these? Seeing some mixed reviews...

I tried to buy a spare part and its starting to feels like I'm getting ghosted by Metadyne ... So time to post here (I'll be making a more detailed thread soon)

Also, got a note removal tool and spring holder tool made.

Ho, and the first Phoenix with a VASA 😎

    Next: CO2 testing!

The disappoint part is that they didn't seam interested in feedback ... I contacted them see if they would sell me one to test (again, purchased) and flat out refused ... It's not often a company turn down payed development 😕

I had low expectations. Something I could plink the back yard. Not doing it.
Working...
