Got mine in. It had a plate, so I went ahead and set it up with the CCM trashcan reg I've been meaning to use on a build. The main spring mine came with was 1/4" or more shorter than a regular cocker spring. I didn't like having to screw the IVG in so far, so I threw a CCM spring in there and have it shooting 300 with the included valve spring.

I haven't checked every screw, but the one thing that was kind of annoying is that the hammer lug takes a 2 or 3mm allen instead of the usual standard size. Everything else seems to be standard that I've tested so far. Just a little weird to mix hardware IMO.

...designed/made in the EU where metric > SAE, its not a leap that is the reason why.

I get why they would, it just seems silly to make everything else standard and then have one part take metric tools. The last Meteor I worked on for someone I think I swapped it out for a lug that took standard wrenches just for ease of use.

The knob on the front of the pump handle seems a little unnecessary since you have to use an allen key to adjust the internal stop and I think most people will be setting and forgetting it 99% of the time. I think a flat faced plug may have been a bit nicer looking. The handle feels nice to my hand and the bearings are working to prevent twist, so it's doing a good job at what it does.

They're very minor complaints, closer to just observations since the marker is very solid, especially considering the price point.

Anybody tested it with unregulated co2 yet?

I wouldn't recommend that as the meteor valve runs pretty low

The valve can run it, you may need to change the *hammer spring. Try it and let us know. Stock pressure on a regular meteor mech is 300-350psi

Couple questions while I impatiently wait. What carrier was used for shipping? Wondering how bad I'm going to get hit at the border. Also will a standard 98+ plate work with the frames or does it need to be a Meteor one? I have a few spare plates kicking around.

I believe any 98+ plate will work

I wonder how they determined who got a trigger and who didn't. I ordered one of the last ones and ended up with a trigger. Weird haha.

Gotta dig a reg out for this now

Might have just been random by the time they got the markers assemble and started to stick labels on them. The last to be built might have been the first to be labeled.
