Dangerous question..... Could an over under be made?

Hey, don't distract the guy from the legendary work at hand!!!
Just kidding... kinda. I imagine air transfer and velocity would prevent that setup from working. The over-under Phantoms that Ken makes each have their own valve.

There's over under typhoons..... They are Sheridan, just saying
On this case no I'd want it strictly pump

I think the bigger issue is balancing the velocity between the two barrels when the air is flowing through the bottom bolt up to the top bolt. You might need to use flow restrictors or something on the bottom bolt to be able to fine tune.
And actually you're right. The large diameter of the threaded portion of a cocker makes feeding them more troublesome than the sheridan with just two tubes soldered right on top of eachother. Good point.

Feeding wouldn't be an issue- you'd use individual right and left feed necks like the Palmer's over-unders, rather than trying to go "straight through" like the Peacemakers.
The only issue I can see would be the aforementioned velocity balancing. I'm not sure how Palmer's does it- or if they even worry about it- but I could see having something like a restrictor screw in the lower bolt, or possibly both bolts- so you could 'dial in' similar velocities.
[Edit] Because the air has to pass through the lower bolt to get to the upper, you'd have to have any adjuster or restrictor in the upper bolt.
So.... who wants to commission one?

Had to spend most of this week working on other clients' work. This isn't the only thing on my tables, by a fair shot.
But, I got in more tooling today and yesterday, including material for the bolts, bolt pins and valves, better drill bits, and a way to hold those better drill bits.
Should be able to punch quite a bit out on Saturday, but I'm gonna tell you right now, don't expect much out of me on Sunday.

Last message I got from you was on the 6th, just acknowledging the receipt of the pics. Nothing after that.

Got most of the preliminary drilling done, so at this point the bolt bores just need to be finish-reamed.
Which means it's time to do more milling.
I sent emails to everyone on the list, though for a few of you, I only have the email from PayPal. Basically just want to nail down a couple details- in a couple cases, it wasn't explicitly specified if you wanted a full size or a mini body, and for some of you that wanted pump kits, whether or not you also wanted a semi frontblock, etc.
If you could check that and get back to me, especially if I have something wrong or forgot something, I'd appreciate it.

Or possibly check your spam folder to see if mine ended up in there?

Progress! Although still a bit behind where I'd hoped to be, but not critically so.
Wasn't able to do much this weekend, but I did complete all the bolt-bore drilling and reaming, which is one of the single most time consuming steps, at least after the basic raw shaping.
Drilled...
Drilled some more....
And then reamed!
I know that reamed bore looks scratchy, but that's just a trick of the light. They're very smooth, and of course they'll get a quick hone later.
And there they are are, all eight current blanks. (One's mine, unless somebody else wants to join in the fun. )
I've got a couple hot jobs to kick out the door this week, and I'll have to break down the drilling jig to finish those. So after they're all done, I'll probably finish up the profiling and do some backblock work, before setting it back up and finishing off the valve-tube bores.
Stand by!

Doc did you ever think your Vee Twins would take off like this YEARS after you put them out?
But, like everything in this game, it all goes in cycles.

I wish I had a fresh update for you ladies and gents- and whatever Mar is- but I've been absolutely slammed, and it looks like I probably will be for the rest of the week.
So, in lieu of a proper update, I'll let you in on something I've been tinkering with along with the rest, ever since Ecap- a curse be upon his name- mentioned it back at the beginning of the month.
Will it work? We're gonna find out.

Yep, I'm not sure even Palmer's tried a single-center feed with his over-under Nastys.
And on a 'Cocker, the barrels must necessarily be at least 1" center-to-center simply due to the barrel diameter. The bottom barrel would feed fine, but the nex6t ball in the stack would fall between the bores, with a partially-fed third above that. It couldn't help but chop.
I understand Ken's "Peacemakers" have a sort of detent in between to keep that from happening, but I'm not sure that could be used here.
It'll have separate side right and left feed necks.

What about if you made the breach 3 balls deep with a small nub detent or oring type detent like ASP use that held a ball between the two breach. You would need a fast force fed but a rotor to keep up If it wasn’t hammered on I bet. You could always turn the torque up on a rotor. Might not like brittle paint or fast speeds but I bet it would work.
Shoot to balls, bolt back, next 3 pushed into place. It would always hold one in between the to bodies held in place by a detent. Only issue I see is the action would need to be open long enough for it to feed the bottom breach and how do you stop the top ball from taking the path of least resistance down the top breach. Maybe Another detent let the bolt push it into place.
